To me it seems like he's bitter about MJ dumping him. Many people around MJ developed a sense of possessiveness of MJ and when they lost him they began to behave like scorned lovers. This was a real phenomenon in MJs life and he paid the price dearly for it, many times over. The Arvizo's, Chandlers, Robsons, Oprah, Quincy, Cory Feldman, Tommy Mottola, Teddy Riley, even The Jacksons... all threw MJ under the bus at some stage when he dared to move on. I know we're going really off topic here, but it irks me when MJ is accused of callously dumping people from his life, as if he doesn't have the right to decide who he works with and who he wants to hang out with. The fact of the matter is, these families/friends/colleagues are butthurt because the friendship meant far more to them than it did MJ. And I don't believe these associations ended because MJ was cold or uncaring, it was more likely down to the fact that he was used by a lot of these people, who were seduced by his fame, talent and money and enjoyed his friendship for all the wrong reasons.

I didn't realise "Just Good Friends" was so... hated! LOL! Even by Quincy Jones and Stevie Wonder himself, who I think even said it wasn't that good in that "Bad 25" documentary that Spike Lee did.

You forgot to mention LMP who literally acted like a scorned lover when he didn't take her back. Talking seriously, it makes sense what respect777 said and all those people you mentioned behaved ad such, the Chandlers and Arvizos being the worst of them since they have Michael's blood on their hands. Going back to Quincy, even though what respect777 said sounds logical and sensible, I wonder why he started to go bitter in 2005, judging this phone call Michael made to the Oprah Winfrey show when Q was her guest, they still seemed to be be in pretty good terms, Q was loving to Michael and he made a photo shoot for Vibe in 2002. On October 15, 2001, producer Quincy Jones was guest in โThe Oprah Showโ. During the show Michael called in to pay tribute to his friend. Yeah,Mike was adorable! โค

Wait what.... Oprah talked to MJ in 2001? I never knew they spoke after their interview in 1993.

Yes, this seemingly contradicts what I said. I also remember him being nice to MJ in the 1990s. That 1995 VIBE photoshoot with Q's daughter Kidada. Also I have Quincy's 1995 Album Q's Jook Joint and it has a dedication to MJ and LMP. So based on these they seemed to have been on good terms even after their parting ways, but I still think there might have been bitter feelings in Quincy towards MJ lingering beneath the surface, despite of the friendly face he put on with him. I don't remember him saying anything bitter of MJ before his death, but everything he might have harboured seemed to have come to the surface after MJ's death. And it just all seems to be petty bitterness and jealousy. It is weird. I don't know where that is coming from. Maybe Quincy is bitter that he is most known for his work for MJ and it overshadows his other work, but then even in his own home his work with MJ is prominently featured. This photo is of a singer from my country who went to visit Quincy in his home. This is Q's home.

wack rolling stone felt that "Bad" was MJ's first truly great solo album. go figure.
thing is that MJ had already started the bulk of work on Bad before Q got back.
Quincy is full of it, because the fast version of PYT was composed by James Ingram and Q made him give him a credit to have PYT on the album and Q did that elephant synth effect and got a credit for that. the running joke was from MJ and Gregg philliganis was that Quincy couldn't do no uptemp.
MJ and Gregg wrote the original PYT, however it was too slow on the album.
MJ cut off Quincy and Rod Temperton off for the Bad album because them songwriting checks are huge.
Q brought in Jimmy smith for the Organ solo to Bad.
Q had that jazzy tone and feel for the way you make me feel
man in the mirror was the money cut.
however Bad was the turning point album.
word was that MJ didn't want to give Quincy anymore than he had to,
