Latoya should have been careful with the guys she hang out with. it seem all of them was abused.
but it been 13 years. i mean if they wasn't important, who really cares at this point? in my opinion.

Apart from the fact that theft is theft, they only discovered it recently because he was trying to auction things of. And they do seem like important and valuable items, like private home videos (presumably of MJ's last months) and music MJ was working on. That doesn't belong in the hands of some scumbag LaToya was screwing.

I respect your opinion. but at the same time if the stuff wasn't really important who really cares. i guess this matters because Michael was/is celebrity. i swear if Michael was average man with no fame i'm pretty sure nobody wouldn't care. look at the fact he's gone and the guy who kill him is out of jail etc..... maybe because i come from different background. we usually let things go if it's not important.

Well there’s a few things to consider. 1) Wouldn’t you be annoyed if someone stole all these items from your friend or relative as they were literally dying? Further more, trying to profit off their death by selling these stolen goods for high prices. 13 years or not, there is still the principle. 2) Going to court isn’t cheap. The fact the Estate are going after him (and that asshole is trying to hold onto what he’s stolen) shows that they must consider what he has to be worth it/important enough. 3) If the Estate let them get away with Michael’s possessions, you just know fans would be giving them shit (and rightfully so).

Yeah, theft is theft whether you consider the items stolen important or not.

I guess one could make an argument for LaToya taking these items as family (not that I agree with that, but at least I would somewhat understand that reasoning, although that doesn't explain things like taking the kids' phones because they were still alive), but trying to sell them is really low and I hope LaToya has nothing to do with that. I understand that she's is no longer together with Phillips, so possibly she's not involved in the selling attempt, but why are all these items still in Phillips' possession and not at least in LaToya's? Phillips has absolutely nothing to do with MJ, he's no family, he has no business possessing or selling these items.
