I think Dangerous or Whatever Happens were the biggest missed opportunities for a great single.

I think Dangerous would've been a brilliant way to end the album campaign. And no doubt, the video would've been spectacular. I would've loved to have seen Unbreakable and Smile also get single releases, mainly because I would've loved to have seen the accompanying music videos for both of these songs. Did I say music videos? I meant shortfilms, naughty me.

I do not particularly like the song, but if it is true that MJ was very excited about Unbreakable, then I think that not happening is the biggest shame. Dangerous would have been spectacular, but the album already had so many great singles that I think the fact that it never happened had a relatively small impact.
As for missed opportunities in terms of videos, I always wished Human Nature would have had one (nah, the short animated sequence in Moonwalker does not count). Could have been something very different.

I voted for Dangerous, Smile and Threatened. I know it was Sony's fault for cancelling Smile's release and shutting down Invincible's promotion completely but those two would have been great singles. I'd have loved to see a third horror short film in Threatened.

'Working Day And Night' shockingly was never released as a single. At least not in the uk. Yet it was still a memorable hit in Michael's career regardless

I would've loved to have seen music videos for Tabloid Junkie and Unbreakable the most out of the songs on that list.
Dangerous is a great song, but when an album has something crazy like 8-9 singles, I'd hardly call it a missed opportunity. Invincible on the other hand, had a number of tracks that could've and should've been released with music videos.

My first choice would be Threatened. I just think they could have made an incredible film out of that one, especially with the Rod Serling snippets. It would have been cool if he'd got to make a film for Unbreakable but I can almost see the faces on the Sony suits when the idea was being explained. They probably just thought "how much is this gonna cost?" Tabloid Junkie just because I love it and always make up videos in my head when I listen to it.

Get on the Floor is a big favourite of mine and I am surprised how little it is mentioned even by fans. I think it is a fantastic song and it would have been a hit if it was released as a single.
I also picked Dangerous and Whatever Happens. Threatened would have been a great single as well.

I think Money would've been a great single, especially for US radio.
Unbreakable, Don't Walk Away, and Whatever Happens as singles could've helped Invincible

I absolutely LOVE Get on the floor! I usually play it on repeat it's such an uplifting song! I also love Keep the faith, would have been a great single.

1. Break of Dawn - This smouldering ballad would have been a smash, especially on urban radio
2. Keep the Faith - So beautiful and heartfelt, this should have been the single after Will you be there and before Gone too soon.
3. Unbreakable - This funky dance number should have dropped as second single after YRMW, and then unleash the ballad as the 3rd single (That was the old formula for OFTW and Dangerous).

Unbreakable deserved a release and a video. I would have loved to see what Michael wanted to do with it. It's a damn shame.
Xscape should have been on Invincible AND released as a single. The song has so much potential and that song is just one huge missed opportunity period. I would love for the Estate to pull in Jerkins to produce an entire album of Invincible outtakes.
Not sure how well Morphine would have done on the charts, but I think MJ could have come up with a kickass video for it. There is so much story to tell with that song and it would have benefited even more with a video to accompany it. The symbolism would have been amazing.

Money would've been a great single with a fantastic video.
Whatever Happens of course and this one may get some flack, but Don't Walk Away. I could've seen it fitting right in on radio in 2001-2002, especially adult contemporary radio in the US

I voted for Unbreakable, Break Of Dawn and Whatever Happens. These along with a single release of Speechless (and possibly 2000 Watts) could have done wonders for the promotion of Invincible. Thanks Mottola! Of the other tracks listed I would argue in favour of Money and Morphine.
