Not a bad interview with Taj, but it sounds like he's going down the conspiracy theory route in regards to Michael's passing. I hope someone does remind him that Conrad Murray was convicted of involuntary manslaughter and not second degree murder as he said in the interview. Preferably before he says it in his doco. I do have a worry that there'll be stuff like that in his doc which is a big nono in my opinion. He needs to stick to the facts.

to be honest i really do not like netflix. after all the stuff that has happen in the last few years i really don't wanna give my money to an company that promote somethings like pedophilia. and let's be real most people not gonna buy a movie or doc until the price is reasonable. maybe i'm only person who does that, but yeah. the main people who gonna watch this are mj fans let's be real here taj really need to do better with this. don't make it about Michael being an superstar make it mostly about allegations. sadly it have to be about them but at least it can put the whole thing to rest. I agree with you and some of the others about the allegations vs the superstar thing. Taj needs to tread carefully on how he portrays MJ because if he portrays him as the greatest person ever, a literal King by the sounds of his episode titles, those who are on the fence about the allegations might think this documentary is too biased towards MJ and distrust or turn off for the important segments - the allegations. ππππ

Unfortunately, from reading his interview he sounds quite stuck on the MJ was murdered for the Beatles catalog thing. There's simply no evidence for that, but plenty of evidence of a very, very negligent doctor who caused the death of Michael Jackson. Especially since he was on his mobile to a girlfriend for around 20 mins. Taj shouldn't chase down rabbit holes. It'll sink any effort if he tries that one.

I will argue that Michael Jackson is innocent all day due to the fact that I can back up every inch of my argument with facts. However, I never get involved in discussions surrounding his death as there are absolutely no facts to back up any of the conspiracy theories

i'm gonna be real with you guys. nobody really knows whatever or not Michael was killed because of the Beatles catalog. come on now, we all know the history with that one.
i'm not saying if it was or not but i wouldn't be surprise. heck i wouldn't be surprise if he was killed if was anything else.
while we as fans loves Michael and his family and friends. not everybody did. there's alot cruel people in world who wants a person to die or fail because they don't like them.
yes it's crazy but true. this is a type of world we are living in. so for hearing Michael saying "they want me dead" or "they wanna kill me" doesn't surprise me.
it's much worst in hollywood and the music industry. there's been many stories about it with other artists. be careful it's really an doggy eating world. smh.

(not saying you stated it as fact, but plenty of other do on a regular basis and it's just a bad look)

People are free to believe whatever they like from the theory MJ was murdered and all the way to the Loch Ness Monster. But: "All opinions are not equal. Some are a very great deal more robust, sophisticated and well supported in logic and argument than others."If one follows the evidence, it really does point one way and not towards murder for a catalog. Especially since Michael negotiated a clause with Sony that simply meant they only had to wait a bit to acquire it as we saw in effect not too long ago. It doesn't make sense to murder to get it and Occams Razor is very useful here too. Whilst people are free to believe what they want even if it flies in the face of all evidence, there's no obligation for the rest of us to respect it.

With all the shit that goes on in entertainment (especially the stuff that's come out in recent years about Epstein and Weinstein) it would not surprise me if Michael was deliberately killed (or at least framed for molestation) as a cover-up. Having said that, we can't completely prove it. Unless something big drops in the future we can only speculate.

At least we can genuinely make a case for MJ being framed by Evan Chandler for child molestation and how others later tried to copy it.

Nobody had to kill Michael to get his share of the Sony/ATV Catalogue.
MJ signed a deal with Sony in ~2006, of which included the shotgun clause that Sony would eventually trigger 6-7 years after his death. Either party could enact this shotgun clause, and there was nothing stopping Sony from triggering it when Michael was still alive. This documentary is for those who are skeptical about the allegations, and after decades of people hearing a lot of lies and mistruths, itβs vital we stick to the actual facts and do not bog down the documentary with these kinds of conspiracy theories. It will do nothing but detract.

Yes. The real information about the allegations will look less credible by association.

I've always supported Taj, I even donated upwards of $500 over three different donations back in 2019 to his documentary. But its time he delivered the goods. Theres no way he can still be using Covid as an excuse in 2022.
