May is over but no website. Also what happened with the transparency promise?
Not that I'm surprised that he still doesn't keep any of his promises.

Another non-update by Taj. I don't even get what this rambling about credit has to do with what we donated for?
Does he feel writing a statement on his family's behalf and a poem during LN is some massive achievement by him that he needs to bring up 5 years later and remind everyone he deserves credit for it?

----I never did these things to get credit for them, thus my predicament.

This whole “ but it has morphed into a whole lot more” is a big part of the problem with Taj. Taj, for the love of god, set out your stall, make all the necessary plans and aim to achieve it! Although the statement and poem are admirable -although I wouldn’t class it as a poem- you need consistency and ultimate commitment. Sacrifice. I remember years ago when Taj began putting these “ updates” out I would read them with enthusiasm and optimism, but soon it will be another five years into the future and we’ll still be getting “ updates”. I no longer have any expectations or desire for this project to happen. It’s a write off! Taj is like a guy in a kitchen who thinks he’s a professional chef. He keeps adding unnecessary ingredients to the recipe thus spoiling the dish.

The fact that that many or some fans still support him and really believe his documentary or whatever the fuck he's supposedly doing will see the light of the day is baffling and laughable at the same time. Laughable because you have fans fighting and blocking the ones who express doubts and concerns over their money for a guy who never keeps his promises, who hasn't shown transparency or real progress. I don't get their loyalty to him or is it just because he's a Jackson?
I think the Case4innocence gals will be wasting their time with Taj, their podcast and efforts have been truly a valuable asset for the advocacy of Michael's innocence.

I don’t know much about how gofundme works, but can all of the money be refunded to the people who have donated over the years? Honestly, I don’t see how this “documentary” is going to contribute anything to Michael’s legacy at this point. There’s a biopic on the way that the general public is stoked for, the music is still selling and I don’t what Taj thinks he’s going to say that hasn’t been said before. He needs to close this thing and give people their money back. It’s all useless now.

I reserve judgment until tomorrow but content wise it doesn't look promising. By the intro, it just looks like a page for Taj to post his home videos and photos. Once again, he seems to be avoiding discussing the allegations. And "Righting History" is such a cringe title SMH.

The website is up now. There's some basic information about the allegations, but nothing concrete about the documentary itself. There's an announcement about Brett Barnes joining the project as a co-executive producer. While it's nice that Brett is willing to tell his story on film, adding a co-executive producer (who mentions that he looks forward to working on this project with Taj, so clearly they haven't done anything yet) at this stage, when the docu is supposed to be out in a few months, suggests it's nowhere near finished.

Yeah. It seems to me that he would rather do anything than the documentary he promised. He just made some bullet points about the allegations and and made an announcement of Brett joining his team. Unfortunately him adding people won't make it move forward if he is not doing anything beyond adding people.

I'm reading his bullet points and I don’t think anyone who's unfamiliar with the case can get a coherent picture about it from these. He's just throwing together some of the points he saw on X discussed by fans. That's it. It doesn't show any deeper knowledge of the case than that on his part. This is where he's at in 5 years. Sigh.
A sub-par fan website is really not what we needed from him and it's not what his mandate was when fans paid him money. There are websites out there discussing the allegations in more detail and in a more coherent way. The challenge is to get all that information to the general public which is what the documentary is the vehicle for.
I wonder if now this website will be his cover for another 5 years: "It's not true he's not progressing. He just did a website."

I didn't properly look at the information earlier, but read through some of the bullet points now too. You're right, this is incomprehensible for people with no knowledge of the case. It's just not presented in a clear and structured manner with the necessary context (and there are several typos/errors in it too). He never even mentions who the Chandlers are, for instance, he just starts talking about them as though people know who they are. Even as a fan, I don't understand what he's referring to with some of these points. Like this one: What's more, he never even mentions what Righting HIStory is! If you didn't already know it's supposed to be a docuseries, you'd be none the wiser after reading his site.

Yeah, I'm trying to get my head around that point too. I think I know what he is alluding to, but it's not correct to put it this way.
Also, the fact he uses MJ dance icons makes it look like a fan site which he should avoid if his goal is to be taken seriously.
It's really all as unprofessional as I expected him to be.

If even you don't know what he means for sure, then that says a lot. Yes, the dance icons look silly. That whole section is blatantly targeted at fans, like some manual for how to behave. How is anyone who is neutral about the allegations and wants to learn going to benefit from this? The silly fan-oriented writing will actually turn those people off. And more generally, if his website diverts traffic from more comprehensive and well-written websites, it's more than just silly, it's actively reducing the likelihood that people will learn something.
