Japanese fans are lucky, though I heard the store's products are expensive. Japan, why are you so far away? 😢 Been toying with the idea of taking a trip to Japan in a few years. Hopefully that store is still there when I go!

They have the best MJ merchandising. I love this T-shirt.
I love this T-shirt. Tried to figure out if I can order from Europe, but I don't know. LOL. The store has beautiful merch and that tee is so cool but paying 5,128 yens ($47.15) is expensive and excessive to me. Imagine how much it'd cost me if it could be shipped to Mexico, the store is indeed expensive. I hope I can go to Japan before I die, not just because of the MJ store though. I've always wanted to see the sakura trees in person, visiting Kyoto to meet Geishas and Maikos in person, etc.

So I took my mother out to lunch for mother’s day and I was somewhat taken aback to hear Don’t Stop Til’ You Get Enough. Not in a bad way, of course, but it goes to show the “Mute MJ” movement, as it were, hasn’t been fully successful.

This might be wordy, but bare with me:
My wife's aunt was diagnosed with brain cancer about 14 months ago. Unfortunately, she fought a very short battle and ultimately lost that battle last month at the very young age of 51. They had her services this past Saturday, with a luncheon type of deal afterwards.
Since I'm "the music guy" of the family, my wife's uncle asked me to put together a playlist for the luncheon. He gave me a short list of songs Patty (my wife's aunt) loved. Stuff like "You Get What You Give" by New Radicals, "You Can Call Me Al" by Paul Simon, "Walk of Life" by Dire Straits and so on. There was maybe 15 or so songs and he asked me to expand on the songs on the list to make a playlist to go around 3 hours or so.
My wife's uncle listed "I'll Be There" and "Billie Jean" with an arrow next to Billie Jean that said "MJ was her all time fave". So I knew I'd include a couple extra songs from Michael.
Patty used to say "Change is good! If nothing ever changed, there would be no butterflies!". So I instantly knew I wanted to include that song, but I started to second guess myself as I was putting the playlist together. I thought "The song isn't about the type of butterflies she meant". I kept going back and forth with it and eventually decided that pretty much no one would pay close enough attention to point that out lol.
In any case, I put it on the playlist. After the luncheon, the immediate family went back to Patty's house where we put the playlist on again. When Butterflies started, Patty's son quieted the room and said "OMG, I meant to ask you before; what song is this??". So I told them the title and said it was from Invincible, etc etc. He said "I've never heard this and my mom must not have because she played MJ all the time and I would have heard it. I really wish she had heard it because she would have LOVED it".
Patty's husband later thanked me for the playlist and said "That's why you're the music man. All the songs were perfect and WOW, that Butterflies song was awesome. Can you make me a CD on MJ songs and put that on there a couple of times?". Of course, I said YES! Then because I am neurotic when it comes to lyrics, I started to explain the lyrics and how I'd doubted myself. He said "Oh don't worry about that. She loved butterflies of all sorts. Plus, she gave ME butterflies".
You could have knocked me over with a feather. Again, I know it's not a very big story to consider "good news" but it was something awesome that happened to me because of something awful that happened to all of us. In the days since, both of her sons have asked me to send the song to them as well.

Britney came through. She needs to serve us some tea about Wade. I love it that she chose Scream. I like to think it is a message. http://instagr.am/p/BxiP_-DgdQj

Good to see Britney dancing to Scream but I wouldn't blame her if she doesn't want to talk about Robson, her mental health is not the greatest since she was hospitalized recently. If Michael's music helps her to put her in a good mood, I'm happy for her.
Johnny Rotten, Sex Pistols' Troutman expressed his support to Michael recently.

That Johnny Rotten clip is at least a few years old.
