It seems she didn't give a flying fuck about that bullshit film. Missy has guts! From all the previous recipients since Michael's name was back, no one else deserved it more than her.

Missy included in her medley Pass That Dutch which mentions MJ.

I love Missy. I am so glad she got it this year. I think she has a lot to do with it still being called MJ award. Probably if it was some white artist with no respect for MJ they would have just dropped the name. I can imagine Missy insisting on it. And that was badly needed this year!
