Radio 2 played Rock With You today as part of the Top 10 40 (Forty) years ago today. According to that BBC Radio 2 music bot, MJ is played more often than David Bowie!

Wasn't sure where to put this, so I figured the Good News thread is probably just the best place.
I just opened my Facebook memories to find this post I made one year ago today:
"I was fully prepared for this and yet I have still been absolutely disgusted by things I've seen, heard & read today. In light of that, I thought I'd make the following post:
I always feel like clarifing a few things for people when the subject of Michael comes up-
For me, this is NOT about separating the art from the artist.
For me, this is NOT about defending my childhood soundtrack.
For me, this is NOT about blindly defending an artist out of misguided loyalty.
For me, this IS about defending a falsely accused person.
Yes, that person happens to have been an amazing artist.
Yes, that person happens to have created the soundtrack to my childhood.
No, I could NEVER seperate the art from the artist if I thought the artist was a child molester.
No, I would NEVER defend a child molester no matter what they'd given me in the past.
This comes down to a couple of things:
MICHAEL JACKSON IS 100% INNOCENT OF ANY AND ALL CHILD MOLESTATION CHARGES.
There has NEVER been ANY proof to show me otherwise.
Many, many people seem hell bent on convicting him in the court of public opinion at the very least.
Well, as long as they're hell bent on that, I'm hell bent on defending him.
I was defending him while he was with us and had to deal with these cruel and vile accusations.
I will continue to defend him in death especially now that he's not even here to defend himself.
I feel this is your darkest hour. I feel this is our deepest dispair. I still care. I am still there."

Dylan Howard is fired by AMI: www.thedailybeast.com/national-enquirer-alum-dylan-howard-reportedly-ousted-by-ami“This has been a long time coming. We are texting each other and wish we could host a party to mark the end of an era. An awful era. His actions almost destroyed the company.” More good news: "Under Pecker’s two decades of leadership, the Enquirer’s newsstand sales plummeted from around 4 million to under 100,000—a loss of readership that can be attributed partly, but not wholly, to the onslaught of the internet."
