There used to be quite a few MJ slots but they've all gone away now. It's a bummer, I loved playing them obviously You mean all the slot machines which that estate had branded, those are gone? Yeah, the ones that have come out in the last 10 years. I used to see them at nearly every casino I went to. Now, I barely see them anywhere. I actually can't remember the last time I saw one. It's sad. I loved played them.

^ Oh that's sad. I wonder whether it has anything to do with LN coming out last year?

That could be the case, or the company that makes the machines lost the rights to use Michael's name/image. I wonder if the machines I saw in Vegas are still around? There was one in Mandalay Bay for sure.

It's the one machine I can always count on being there.

That's the exact one I was thinking of. XD Such perfect placement.

Not good news as such, but liked seeing MJ and especially Give In To Me get a mention in an article on BBC regarding the rise of collaborations in pop. www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-53107686Collaborations continue to take over pop radioFirst of all, the way that artists are credited has changed. When Michael Jackson roped in Eddie Van Halen to play the guitar solo on Beat It, his name didn't appear on the front sleeve or the disc itself. By the time he released Give In To Me in 1991, Slash not only had his photo on the cover, but he received a "featuring" credit on the charts.

Actually, it's the second article in the BBC Entertainments section today to mention MJ www.bbc.co.uk/news/entertainment-arts-53095727Christian Li: The young Harry Potter fan on his music stardomAlthough he makes an exception for "the classics like Michael Jackson," he says "I do not really like listening to pop music very much."

Quick but nice Michael story from this morning. Ran to the bank to make a deposit and the security guard pointed out my tattoo. We both agreed that we love Michael. Not much to that story, but I always like sharing them

It's not entirely good news since it's the 25th of June... but Deluxe Music (real music televsion in Germany) plays one hour Michael's videos only in honour of him and will repeat it on Sunday. Apparently it's a niche channel in these days. They announced it earlier today on facebook and all the comments I saw were positive; the announcement was liked by 400ish people when other posts of theirs get 50 likes on an average. They just played the (full) Smooth Criminal video. Others were the usual suspects like TWYMMF, Bad, Beat It, BOW, Earth Song, and Thriller. I missed the first 10 minutes though.

Kind of a funny little story: my son, who is 14, is very much the leader in his little social group.
He started a group chat with his friends and he told me some kid was begging to get in the chat. So he let this kid into the chat and the kid said something Michael having done bad things to kids. So my son booted him from the group chat and told everyone else they're not allowed to say that stuff.
Like father like son I guess haha.
