The responses... the ratio.... I mean, you should pick one based on what you want to do instead of gender norms. That person has short hair that fits well on men, so go to a barber. It'll be cheaper and they're way more used to cutting hair of that length, so they'll do a better job (least in my experience). If you have longer hair or need further work (i.e. have it massaged, washed, dyed, straightened blah blah blah) then you go to a salon. I mainly go to a barber as my hair is a shorter length right now, but years ago when it was longer, I went to a salon for that reason. They dealt with longer hair better.
As for them not liking the "are you a girl or boy" question... I think it's a case by case thing. If they're rude and confrontational or mocking about it, then yeah that's lame of them. But many of them ask because of the pricing structure, which is based on this archaic gender based structure. Which I do find a bit weird now-a-days and while I understood why it was implemented (guys generally do have simpler/shorter haircuts), I think they should get rid of it. They should just charge based on the amount of work done, length of hair and complexity of work. If a woman wants to get a haircut that's stereotypically more suited to a guy (let's say an undercut), they shouldn't have to pay more than a man should it take a similar amount of time. I'm not a hair stylist or barber though so there's maybe something I'm missing out on, but many salons do do what I suggested.

There was a story on the bbc world service about women going to barbers in the uk and by law they cant refuse to serve you. Womens haircuts are far more expensive then mens so ones with short basic styles we going to mens ones instead. Brit who comes out to our spanish village every x amount of weeks goes to the local barber for ten euros instead of paying £40 in the uk for a short cut.!

People in general want to be offended by everything nowadays. Individuals who did blackface commonly mocked and exaggerated back people's features and stereotypes associated with them, Mary Poppins just had a dirty face, for goodness sake!

LOL. I find this especially witty. It points out the hypocrisy of the Western SJW movement and how they are preoccupied with nonsense, while they aren't putting nearly that much energy into issues like the rights of women and girls in Muslim countries (I guess that would be "racist" or something).

This is a thorough violation of human rights against innocent girls and what should really matter. Not privileged non binary idiocy.
This is also one of the reasons why it pisses me off faux liberals defend Islam and Muslims in the name of inclusion and multiculturalism even when the religion and its adherents are detrimental for women, girls and other vulnerable minorities.

I seriously knew Titania's Twitter account is satirical and over the top but I thought her name was pseudonym she used but it's thoroughly an alter ego Andrew Doyle created. Silly me!
I don't even how to call myself anymore. I thought I had classical liberal, somewhat leftist and humanistic ideas and approach to see the world but these people who call themselves ”liberals" hijacked liberalism to become oppressors who also embrace oppressive people and ideas at the same time.
