Cinq Music, the company she used to distribute her single ‘Made for Now’ revealed that they “will be working with Janet and her team at Rhythm Nation in the coming year on several new projects, including a forthcoming single and new album.”
Janet recently made structural changes to her management team after returning to the Pop scene with a team of up and coming executives in her arsensal.

The first half of the album especially was her best work since TVR imo. I believe both Broken Hearts Heal and After You Fall were about MJ. The last one in particular was beautiful. The Great Forever, Burnitup, Shoulda Known Better and the title track were also fantastic. |

Welcome! Im listening to Unbreakable and so far I love this album! Not familiar with Janets albums post VR but really liking this! The first half of the album especially was her best work since TVR imo. I believe both Broken Hearts Heal and After You Fall were about MJ. The last one in particular was beautiful. The Great Forever, Burnitup, Shoulda Known Better and the title track were also fantastic. I'll be honest.... I got stuck on the last 3 you mentioned, they are fantastic! Those were the ones I was referring to. Great tunes! |

She never made an outright bad album. I do think Unbreakable was her best since TVR, but each of those albums in between have at least 3-4 great tracks which make them worth a listen. And yes, a lot of so-so material too. I would say Discipline was her nadir, she didn't write a song on the album and the whole thing feels very impersonal and not much like a Janet Jackson album. You may as well be listening to Rhianna. But there's still a few good songs. Be intrigued to know your thoughts on those albums Nigel. |
