Who did MJ want to depose (the motion that was dismissed)? Jordan, Evan and June Chandler as well as David Schwartz. These rulings were made on the 23rd November 1993. Soon after, Johnnie Cochrane joined Michael's legal team and he started a Motion For Protective Order. The ruling was a mixed bag, but the biggest blow was that the LAPD and SBPD could gain access to any informal and formal discovery material. Michael couldn't prepare for the civil trial within 120 days as the police were refusing to provide him with copies or a list of what they took. Fast forward to the settlement.

It wont let up now.

I think we are due a positive. Positives usually come once a week, be it a new bit of evidence, statement, suit... The negativity is louder than the positivity out there night now This negativity will continue and ramp up next week. It will then die down. But the damage is being done. Im starting to get concerned with regards to the Estate’s response. The letters and the lawsuit were excellently worded, and details all of the reasons why no one should believe Wade or James. However, the media are not going to study these documents in depth and report on it fairly and accurately. So who is actually reading those letters and that lawsuit? Fans. No one else. They need to start fighting this battle in the media, where it’s currently being waged. We are losing that battle big time. Virtually every article written about this is heavily against MJ. We have virtually no one out there presenting the other side of the story, apart from fans on social media and a couple of family members like Taj. The Estate are letting this run away from them.

Just watching the CBS This Morning interview with the Jacksons. I know MJ was a family member so it's more difficult to read things, but they are so poor at defending him. They just use 'he wouldn't do that' and it's not a defence. When asked about Wade saying he lied for MJ as he didn't want to be the one to harm him, with research they'd have had the perfect response by citing Wade claiming in court he didn't realise it was abuse.
I knew they'd be like this, as usual.

Yeah his family are really bad at defending him. I get they're trying but they're just making themselves look silly tbh.

In Brandis interview she said she reached out to certain entities and they weren’t interested in interviewing her. It seems that they have been shut out. As much as we want to blame the estate and family, it seems that no one wants their side.

I don't think it is true. It was an article that attempted to play down the monetary aspect of his lawsuit. It is not true the same way the $1.5 billion dollar claim is not true on the other side. His lawsuit was always worded in a way that would give potentially a huge monetary compensation if he had won the lawsuit, even though a sum was not named.
