The very fact that they are doing this much publicity for the documentary strikes me as strange, like they are promoting a movie or an album. You would think someone who was sexually abused would find it hard enough talking about it just on the documentary, let alone doing an entire press tour to promote it. Even if I believed they were telling the truth, I would still find the whole thing to be very distasteful. By all means, victims should speak up and tell their story, but to promote it, like it's a product they are trying to sell.... it's just so crass and tacky. And it goes to show that this isn't about speaking loudly and raising awareness, this is about causing maximum impact/damage to MJs reputation, in order to strengthen their chances with the lawsuit.

Estate: are you watching? There is a PR machine in overdrive pushing Wade and Safechuck’s allegations. They must surely have something planned??! They have to. Surely!? I believe they do.

I believe they do. “The best thing for the Jackson brand,” he added, “would be to not respond, not argue, to dial back and go into a quiet period and wait for some time to go by.” variety.com/2019/music/news/leaving-neverland-fallout-michael-jackson-estate-1203150073/^^^ Maybe this is their plan??

Maybe. While we all age several years in the process worrying and shitting pebbles. From a brand POV, anything they say or do right now will only serve to give the documentary more exposure. It may be prudent for the estate to hold off and only come back with a rebuttal after the initial furore dies down.

And the allegations become fact and history is re written But hey if ppl still go to one in vegas cause they are fickle and two faced all is ok in the estate world.
.mj is a human being not a project. Dont answer the lies they become fact.
Feel physically sick seeing those screen shots😩
Do we really expect the estate to do anything after the airings. They havnt exactly instilled much faith

I suppose at the moment, nothing is going to drown out the HBO/Channel 4/Dan Reed PR machine. Things will die down. In that space, the Estate will need to launch a public defence.

It's so frustrating all this crap from media outlets. Asking if you need to see something before criticising it is very deceptive given the pair's court documents are out there. This isn't like your regular documentary accusing somebody of something and you don't have any documents readily available to you. We already know what the pair are really like in court. We don't need to see the documentary to know the 'we were in love with MJ' angle is contradictory to what they said in court.

They go on about us watching the doc. Well from what we have seen so far they have been provern lies by courts docs. They tell us to watch, we tell them to read the court docs and depositions. Our judgements are based of the excerts released and their interviews. Theirs are based on provern lies

Theirs are based on provern lies We are being asked to disregard the evidence available that show holes in their stories and destroy their credibility, to embrace what they say on film as fact. Who do the media think they are?
