Remind me, what way was this portrayed in the movie?
"We wanted to buy another house, and Michael gave us a loan at a very low percentage rate. My husband had already had a deposition. We were on Michael's camp. My son also for Michael. And after that was all said and done is when Michael forgave the debt. Michael said, "No, I don't want you to pay me anymore," um, "It's a gift." So, he did buy us a house. It's just coincidental, he wasn't buying us off, but the timing's right there. Just sounds bad. Yeah."
I dont see any source for this though, and the poster never responded any time they were asked?

While she didn't go as far as claim that he bought them off (she says he did not), but she had to create innuendo: "...but the timing is right there. Just sounds bad. Yeah" as if MJ had ulterior motives with it. From what we have learnt now, the timing wasn't "right there". MJ forgave the loan 3 years later, not anywhere around their testimony. Jesus wept... i hope their appeals win do you know that? See them explain this shit. No accountability so far. I really don't hope their appeals win. In this climate of metoo and LN a civil trial may go all bad for MJ. This is not a criminal trial. This is a civil trial with much less burden of proof. Everything would be stacked against MJ: the #MeToo zeitgeist. Wade and James having the whole media's support behind them, the whole support of the public they created through LN. (That's pressure on a Jury.) MJ not being here to assist his own defense. They will have all the crooks up on the stand from Blanca Francia to Adrian McManus testifying for them. Yes, there is evidence they lied and changed their story and because of that they would not fare well in a criminal court. This is a civil court, though. You don't have the beyond a reasonable doubt requirement here. IMO it is not even fair to discuss what is basically a criminal matter in a civil court setting, especially under these circumstances (accused dead etc). So yeah, I don't wish that their appeals win.

The poster is credible (he provided the train station docs as well, I think), so I do believe what he says is true. Maybe he will provide the docs later.

Have the suits changed at all from before LN? Why wouldn't they just get thrown out again?

No, you can't change a lawsuit on appeal. It has to be the same that was discussed before.
I don't worry about the appeal much. I don't think they will win it, at least I hope so.
What I worry about is that there is a law change in the making in California right now that would allow them to re-file the case. It is still in front of the Senate so it is a race against time now. If the Bill goes through before their appeal is completed it may apply to them. If it goes through after their appeal is dismissed then it is all over for them.
IMO, that is why they are trying to drag the case on.

In accordance to Mike Smallcombe, MJJRepository was not the actual source providing the permits which proved that the Neverland train station didn’t exist prior to 1993, although he may have brought it to the public’s attention. I would also appreciate it if MJJRepository cited some sort of source for the excellent thread rebutting the dastardly insinuation that Michael bribed them (the Safechucks) into testifying in his favor in 1994. MJJRepository went onto post another thread debunking lies about the Neverland train station and some other miscellaneous matters, and I don’t want to sound ungrateful or impatient, but without a source for that info about the loan, it would be difficult to properly refute the claim or the implication MJ “silenced them” by purchasing them a home. Here’s a page from 2005 which somewhat alludes Harvey Levin of TMZ spoke to a certain “family” “denying” MJ “bought them” a “home”... probably the Safechucks (Simi Valley is mentioned), but again, it’s nothing conclusive.

That's the Safechucks definitely. The article mentions Simi Valley. That's where the Safechucks are from.

Ha. Its ok, details like that regarding the Safechucks don't matter when it comes to abuse victims. Stop finding holes in any story. It's mean.

Lol, yeah. I have a hard time believing it. If for nothing else than for Game of Thrones.
The media is really trying hard to shove it down on everyone's throat.

Litigation for decades? I’m sure that would be Finaldi’s wet dream and is probably why he is so invested in trying this case through the press. He doesn’t care about victims, he’s looking for future business and sees the potential of bankcrupting MJs estate as hugely lucrative. Have you seen the law firms official website? They are practically begging for other “victims” to come forward against MJ! I don’t think LN has had the desired effect. Wade and James’s allegations have been public knowledge for over half a decade and nobody else has joined them in that time. They were obviously hedging their bets on LN being the catalyst for more money-grabbers to come forward and so far, nada, zilch. It’s gotta be killing them. Wouldn’t be overly surprised if they got their wish in the end, because out of the thousands of kids MJ hang out with, there’s bound to be more than just 5 bad apples in the bunch, but for the time being, I’m quite enjoying watching the desperation unfold.
