This idiot! So he bashes MJ because of his guilt about Savile. SMDH Thats how I read it... Im definitely seeing a reluctance to believe the accusers based on their stories, moreso because of what he "learned"

I have no problem at all with people acknowledging why they believe accusers & then changing their mind. It shows a lot of guts. In Theroux's case I'd love him to full agree that MJ (could) be innocent but he didn't want to make the same mistake he did with Savile. Fully understandable.

I’m still trying to wrap my head around the fact that this “documentary” is still doing the rounds despite the fact that sooo many of its lies have been proved. I mean, an edited version was shown in the UK. What planet are we living on! Is it? If I didn't go to this website I don't think I'd ever hear anything about LN anymore and it's been like that for months tbh (the week of June 25th aside, for understandable reasons). I mean at awards shows. I mean their still trying to push it. There’s still related articles in papers such as The Guardian. I agree with you about “if I didn’t go to this website I don’t think I’d ever hear anything”, but we can be unaware of something, but that doesn’t mean it’s not happening.

He carries massive guilt over Savile. I understand where he’s coming from. If he’s open to the other side of the argument, then great. Edit] Just read the article. He doesn’t seem open to the idea that MJ is innocent. He feels he has a duty to stick up for accusers. Shame. I used to enjoy his shows over the years although I always found him to be a bit of a moron.

He strikes me as a very naive guy who’s unable to take the other side of this situation into account because he’s emotionally invested in it because of misplaced guilt, and also probably because he sees the abuse Dan Reed has gotten online as an attack on journalism which is his livelihood. I mean with or without LN, Dan Reed is just a massive beep!

I've always put them down as MJ haters but really it could be anybody.

I've always put them down as MJ haters but really it could be anybody. I think hatred plays a part. He became too famous. He did too much. He was too nice. They resented the fuck out of him for everything. Talent, Beatles Catalog, Owning half of Sony etc. It’s just jealousy turned to hatred turned to evil. It makes me fucking sick! All these White rock magazines snubbing him, looking down on him, looking down on his fans! Tossers! The lot of em!!

The fact that pitchforker supported Saville and apparently didn't do anything when he was groping a teenager in front of him, it shouldn't give him an authority to give opinions and judgments on CSA allegations or sex allegations in general. In a rational world, it should be a career ending move.

He believes mj is guilty because he feels bad about knowingly promoting a known abuser. He doesn't want to look at any facts and is happy being ignorant. That is not "understandable" at all imo.
