BTW, jokes about child molestation NEVER bothered the mainstream media when Michael Jackson was at the receiving end of it! Then comedians could make graphic jokes all they wanted. So it is not really the graphic jokes that bother them. It is the violation of their dogma of "just believe the accuser" that really bothers them. And why that dogma is completely wrong was explained very well in the article (see the screenshot above).

Again, with all the liberal media whining about Chappelle's comedy, now we happen to have Breitbart of all people on our side.
Brilliant article. We are heading towards George Orwell’s 1984. It’s a dark and dystopian world we’re moving towards -we’re already living in it- the way people want to deliberately set an agenda and not even want to consider the other side of a situation. What a fucking time we're living in; in which people are willingly trying to stop freedom of speech, trying to say Chappelle’s special is a flop etc. People are so wrapped up in being do-gooders, so self involved in their own opinions and self importance, projecting their victim vomit down the throats of those who have an opposing view, a different opinion. People are sitting around looking for, waiting to be offended and let the world know just how offended they are. I watched Chappelle’s special. It was good. Full of humour and absurdity, full of nuance and playfulness, parodies etc. And I was intelligent enough to be able to understand all of that through his body language, expression, tone, exaggerated playfulness and all round demeanour and mannerisms. But what pisses these thought police off the most is that even though Chappelle used his comedy to shock, he was also able to snap out of his comedic role and simply say “I don’t fuckin’ believe it!” and they knew he was being truthful in his opinion. They didn’t like that he had a pair of balls and broke off from the media narrative. They didn’t like that a comedian could also be well-read and intelligent and have the ability to think for himself and form his own opinion without feeling the need to pander to the agenda and insecurities of the weaker spineless set. And a lot of people watching had a moment where they were momentarily snapped out of the spell cast on them where they felt they had to keep their mouths closed for fair of repercussions, and soon after more spoke up, Missy Elliott and a slew of people on the red carpet. I salute anyone who took/are taking Chappelle’s/ Missy Elliott’s initiative and are finding their voice to speak out. I don’t want to make this about Justin Timberlake, but he, of all people had first hand experience of how much of a creep Wade is, and was happy to base his career on MJ and even appear on Xscape’s lead single. His backing of MJ would have had a massive influence on the tone being set. I gave him the benefit of the doubt for years but he’s a spineless self interested Hollywood coward. Anyway, Chappelle, Missy Elliott and others are added to my Christmas list, others are being crossed off.

Now all of a sudden when it’s about 2 self entitled arrogant pricks, it’s not so funny anymore. Hypocrites, the lot of em.

So the mainstream media rated Chappelle's special so far 0% on Rotten Tomatoes. Yet another example of them being completely out of touch with the people and just being a bunch of leftist ideologues. (Same as why LN got extremely high scores from them with complete disregard to its serious ethical issues.)

I feel weird having Breitbart on our side... am I going to have to give up my rights as a woman because of this now? I don't know how someone can call the LGBT+ crowd "alphabet people" and NOT be anti-LGBT rights but whatever. Nobody makes any sense anymore. Also, I just want to say I hate "if you don't like it, don't watch it". If a person doesn't watch something, how they genuinely, honestly say if like or don't like something in the first place? Isn't that a bit... dishonest? Is it true Chappelle made the comment about "if he did do it, so what? It's Michael Jackson!". Because I don't really think that helps our case, even if it is "just a joke/words". >.>

And the shrug about "if he did do it" I took as just needling the critics. Kicking up even more controversy if you will.

Interesting take... don't know how much stock I can place in that, but thanks for sharing. I can see where there would be in-fighting among that group. The guy who wrote the article though seems to have gone on a tangent about the transgender community being evil (i.e. the whole "mEn in gIrL's rEstRoOmS" thing), which is... kinda hypocritical coming from someone who says we shouldn't believe in mob mentality. Thinking on it more... R&S did portray their alleged experiences as being "positive", so in a weird way Chappelle's statement actually accurately reflects what they said. Not saying that means it's true or "right", though, because it's not. Is chappelle actually big cause i ant got aclue who he is. (I havnt got a clue who most big stars are so that means nothing!) He was pretty big back in the mid-2000's or so. He had a hit show on Comedy Central that was part standup/part sketch comedy. If you ever heard the phrase "I'm Rick James, bitch", he originated that and the sketch that accompanied it. Then he suddenly decided to walk away from the fame (I think he had a nervous breakdown or something?), but has made a comeback in recent years.
