Yeah, I never saw it going up in the past days.

And he tagged Emmys2019. The Emmys for documentaries are tonight. The woman is LN's assistant producer, so I am sure they are all going to go together to the Emmys. You can tell this is the time of little pathetic Jimmy's life. Finally he got the attention and fame he's always chased after. MJ didn't make it happen for him, so he made it happen by lying about MJ. What an achievement! Congrats, I guess!
I wonder if Wade will be there, though. He is advertising a dance class in Maui for tomorrow. But James absolutely enjoys the red carpet, and limelight from this. He even went to that no name Television Critics Award (probably thought it's gonna get more publicity). I only knew about it because someone mentioned meeting him there on his Insta.
He's well stationed and trained to win this. Let's hope it goes off the rails for him.

Points like this don't work anymore in this day and age, because even bringing them up is dubbed victim-shaming. But I can't help it: How can seemingly nobody, except MJ fans, see that this is strange behavior for an abuse victim whose traumatic past is about to be put in the spotlight once again? I could see the subject of a docu about abuse attend an award ceremony. But to post a smiling photo on social media and tag it #emmys2019, as if he's just one of the many actors looking forward to a lighthearted industry party? (Well, that's exactly what he is, I guess...).
Out of curiosity, I googled some of the women featured in the Surving R. Kelly docu, which has 1 nomination. Most of them do not even have a social media presence. The ones that do, have not posted anything about the Emmys today, let alone a photo in which they look eager to walk the red carpet.
To be honest, I'm surprised Wade's not there. I expect him to still write some more self-help guru drivel, thinking that with the help of the extra attention he'll be getting this week, people will finally see him for the profound genius he thinks he is.

No one batted an eyelid when they were doing photoshoots with Rolling Stone, or joining Reed in the UK on a promo tour. It's fucking insane! People seeing what they want to see! I've not seen any of the other noms, but I've heard of the Fyre one. I've heard way more people talk about that one too. Anyways, doesn't matter a fuck. I'm expecting it to win one of the big 2 it is nominated for, but my guess is that Leaving Neverland will win rather than Dan Reed. It was directed pretty badly, even many of the extremely positive reviews mentioned this. Teherfore, people ctritiqued with their "hearts" rather than their heads. The word "Powerful" is dead to me. This word now means : "something I feel very strongly about, regardless of the facts (or lack thereof) and if you do not share this opinion, shame on you"

To Reed it's always been about the attention and hype MJ's name would bring in to him. This is why it is so freaking disingenuous when they say it is not about MJ. It's always been about what the name Michael Jackson could do for their ratings and Reed's career. He claims that it's not about MJ, but about two "victims" and their families bla-bla, but when he was asked how the idea of the film came about this is what he said:
So it is about Wade and James, not about MJ, but he didn't even know about Wade and James when they decided they would do a film about the allegations against MJ, because that was "an iconic American story that had the power to engage audiences on a global scale". Oh, but it is not about MJ.
Reed probably saw what the MJ name, combined with the ever salacious topic of pedophilia that people love to salivate about, could do for his career and he wasn't wrong about that. Finally he's gonna be at the Emmys instead of just BAFTA. Finally he is a world famous documentary maker.
But remember, it is all about "victimZ", not MJ.

Leaving Neverland: Michael Jackson & Me is NOT about Michael Jackson folks.

Okay, I really wish I hadn't entered this thread now. The sight of their faces makes me feel sick to the stomach. If they win an Emmy, I will be so pissed. I know I shouldn't be setting myself up for a fall like this, but I can't help it. So we will be finding out in the next 12hrs or so whether they're going to win?

Be interesting to see that if they do win, would you have heard about it if you weren't in this thread or actively looking.
