Yes, he is either lying or if he really doesn't know then that's not a good look for someone who just made a 4 hour "documentary" about MJ, even if music wasn't the topic of this film. And the fact he thinks his ignorance is something to brag about...
Mind you, he is just as ignorant about the court case. All he did was taking the stories by these two men at face value. No research, no attempt at balance, interviewing people from the other side etc. I actually suspect it was Wade and James's condition that no counter-argument will be featured. I have no evidence of this, just a gut feeling that they wouldn't have sat down in a documentary where they could have been challenged.

I think it was mutually beneficial for both Dan and Wade/James to not argue a defense. For Wade/James, it means they don't have to answer to the many, many inconsistencies and changes in stories/timelines etc, and for Dan, it gave him the opportunity to frame LN as a "devastating exposé", which is a lot more salacious and attention-grabbing than a fair and balanced documentary which presented both sides would've been.

Reed: 'ThEy'Ve QuIt SoCiAl MeDiA... That lasted long... 'I LOVE YOU!!!' .... for what? and the comment above which is even more baffling, 'YOU INSPIRED ME TO CONTINUE TO LIVE'. I could understand sympathizing with Wade if you believe him, but in what world is he inspirational? Inspirational for defaming a dead man who's survived by three devastated children and a frail mother, or inspirational for supposedly denying justice to an ex-cancer patient... opps I forgot, MJ with his superhuman strength brainwashed him into thinking there was nothing wrong with abusing children, and the brainwashing conveniently weaned off once he ran into financial troubles in his 30s. These men are so infantilized it makes me sick.

These men are so infantilized it makes me sick. Their being infantilized and coddled is just as bad as the allegations themselves, IMO. In the eyes of haters, these two can do no wrong. If they end up getting in deep shit over something (be it related to the allegations or not), they can just say "well MJ raped us and that's why we did the bad thing" and everyone will excuse them from any consequences.

Assuming you don't look into their stories past Leaving Neverland...

Woeful.
This also shows his true issues shining through again, 'Do you ever hear that voice in your head? You're not good enough. You've never been good enough. You never will be good enough.'

The kind of people who make up the "MJ guilty" cult and the LN/Robson/Safechuck "fandom".
