All part of the PR. Insert words such as “gut wrenching”, “powerful”, “disturbing” and add to that statements such as “leaves no doubt” and you plant the seed in the minds of the public. Also add in “insidious, predatory, manipulative” to describe Jackson.
It’s amazing that in 2019 we have trial by media. There’s no such thing as innocent until proven guilty, or the presumption of innocence. Someone can make an accusation, provide no proof and we are all expected to accept it as fact and condemn the accused as being guilty.
The worst thing about this is we have a mountain of evidence casting significant doubt on the credibility of the accusers. We have concrete evidence of the lies they’ve told. If these were two men free from any questions over their credibility you could understand to an extent people willing to believe them at face value. That’s not the case here though.
There is no other public figure alive or dead who the mass media are more willing to believe the worst about than Michael Jackson.
I e-mailed the MJ Online Team earlier today asking what their plans are over the next few weeks to counter this. It needs a co-ordinated and powerful effort in order to try and stop this documentary becoming the accepted narrative. Let’s see what they come back with. The letters to HBO and Channel 4 were good, but that can’t be the end of the fight,

Seeing people saying that it leaves "no doubt" is very worrying. Thick as concrete. I'm so sick and tired of that particular line especially. They all parrot it too, it probably comes with the advance copy. They all use the same words, same lines. It seems to be indeed told to them what they have to say. There was a blue tick chick working for HBO that said these same lines and fans then found out she likely didn't even see the film (they found evidence that she was roaming some other country or something). It's an absolutely orchestrated PR campaign.

A quick google search on Halina Watts shows that she is the Sunday Showbiz Editor at the Daily Mirror. Pffft

Get ready. This is Channel 4 staff. They will not say a bad word about this. Expect the worst type of comments, reviews and headlines.

They're all gonna love it and come out crying saying how "powerful" it is and that you should "just watch it" without thinking for yourself at all.

You forgot "it leaves no doubt that MJ was a predator".

We're probably gonna have to look at a bunch of hack journalists reporting on how great it is later today and how everyone needs to see it and that you'll never be able to play thriller at a kids party again. Yawn.

Get ready. There's something quite nauseating watching these staff members snack on popcorn, watching this as a piece of entertainment, when what they are actually watching is a huge miscarriage of justice.

It's sick. And from what I've heard, pretty much child porn in itself. Sick f*****

The popcorn is bizarre. To them (who don't see this film for the hack job it is), this is supposedly a graphic documentary about horrifying child abuse. What kind of person would feel like snacking on popcorn during that? Truly goes to show that these people, who in a few hours will be on their high horse tweeting about how powerful this film was, don't give a damn about the supposed victims here. It's truly a circus.

I don't know how helpful it is to MJs cause to bring race into this. People will just accuse us of playing the race card. Stick to the facts, and there are plenty of them.
