"Michael Jackson and I met many times. One day he came to my house with his son [Prince]. My wife took care of the baby while Michael and I talked. He was an excellent father, very caring.
I visited his house too, in Neverland. He wanted to play Spider-Man, but I'm not sure if he wanted to produce or play the role. Our conversation never got to that point. He thought I was the only one who could grant him the rights, but I explained that I couldn't. He had to go to Marvel.
In all cases, we became friends and he was a nice guy.''

"From a rice paddy in China to a slum in Africa. Around the world! He was the face better known than any other. Every time Michael came to the UK, he'd call me and we'd meet.
Michael booked the entire floor of a hotel but he answered the door like a guy in a sweatshirt and blue jeans. He'd say, "Give me a hug, " and we'd talk for hours.
We had a common baseline. He was much more famous than me, but we were two child stars and we were the same age.
Michael loved fish, chips, peas and lots of ketchup. It was his favorite thing. Wherever we were, in any restaurant, he'd have to eat fish and chips. We'd go out for dinner or a cup of coffee and he'd watch the women walking down the street and say, 'She's so beautiful'; 'that one has a nice butt,' but then he apologized.
After the artist, he was a normal man, just like anyone else.
Michael always told me that he wrote his songs for the age group of ten to fourteen. He would never do anything to hurt anyone. He was unable to hurt anyone.''

Living long in the glamour of Hollywood's elite Kathy Hilton is best known as the mother of Paris Hilton. In a recent interview with Bustle, the Hilton family matriarch recalled her friendship with The King of Pop, Michael Jackson. As a teenager Kathy attended Montclair College Preparatory School, where she met and befriended the King of Pop. "We met when I was 13 and he was 14, and we developed a friendship and bond over the years." Kathy told Piers Morgan in 2011 that even after marrying richard hilton and becoming a mother, Jackson always rekindled her side of a naughty child. "And then when I moved to New York, we always went to his shows. And we used to make phone calls together. We were like two kids. We had a great time together.'' Jackson was there when Kathy's first daughter, Paris, was born and apparently spent a lot of time with all of them. The "Simple Life" star revealed to Morgan that she was even invited to visit the set of the music video "Thriller". "And we still have the pictures. I've always loved him. I used to go to the shows and he would bring my sister and me on stage." Despite Jackson's tragic death in June 2009, Paris and Kathy will never forget the King of Pop. It's no accident that Kathy Hilton and Michael Jackson's daughters are called Paris. Jackson's sister, La Toya, told Yahoo! in 2012 that as children, everyone took an oath to name their future daughter Paris. "It was so funny because when we were growing up, we all said we were going to [one day] have kids. And I said to them, 'Well, I'm going to call my first son Prince and my first daughter from Paris. So Kathy had kids, she did it. Michael had kids, he did it. And I, well... I only had my dogs!'' Kathy was devastated to learn of Jackson's deathβshe was one of the first people to promise to be by her children's side. ''I will always be for your three beautiful children.' When Kathy celebrated her birthday in 2018, Paris Jackson had the honor of being by her side. Both Paris, Hilton and Jackson have also attended each other's birthdays in the past and support each other in times of need. Kathy still fondly keeps all the memories of her great friend. She's got a picture of him hanging in the office of your house. True friendship never goes away. www.bustle.com/entertainment/kathy-hilton-real-housewives-paris-documentary

''Michael was just a normal guy. As normal as you think. He had a great sense of humor and was an amazing voice imitator! He could perfectly imitate the voice of a middle-aged man. That's how Michael sometimes answered calls. If you didn't know it was Michael Jackson who was on the other line, you'd surely fall.
"There's no Michael Jackson here, I don't understand what you're talking about, sir!" " he answered.
"Oh, hi, Corey, " Michael stopped playing and, came back with his familiar timbre ... ''is michael, how are you?'
I came to the conclusion that it was a great way to avoid talking to people he didn't want to get in touch with.''

"I could never decide if I wanted to be Michael Jackson or marry him. I don't care what people say about him now because he's a genius.
That's it, end! He was stripped of his childhood, that's why he surrounds himself with children. When you are surrounded by children, you can be a little boy and pretend that life is magical and you don't have to be one of those sweaty people who go to work every day.
I completely see what he's doing."

"When Michael Jackson broke our record it was a disaster, nobody understood anything, we were The Beatles, nobody could get close to us.
John Lennon screamed wondering how a 12-year-old boy did what no artist could do. We were unbeatable, but when Michael broke our record, everything changed, soon my reaction was fear... If at 12 years old he did what not even a fun artist in the world would do, imagine when he grew up, he would be a scandal on the music scene."
- Paul McCartney, in an interview for Times Magazine.

The friendship began when, out of nowhere, Michael offered her tickets to one of her Victory Tour shows βin fact, she asked for 14 tickets. But the place was in a glass-enclosed VIP box, so far from the stage that "it was like watching on TV".
Upon learning that she had left the show earlier, Michael called the next day in tears apologizing for the bad places. They talked for two hours. And then they talked every day. Weeks passed, calls continued. Months have passed. And they kept talking. "Really, we met over the phone for three months."
One day Michael said if he could meet her in person.
"Can I bring my chimp?" he said
"Of course. I love animals." said Liz
Michael showed up hand in hand with chimpanzee Bubbles.
"And from that day on, we became friends, " said Elizabeth.

My three encounters with Michael Jackson are the most touching memories of my life. The contrast between the King on stage and off was enormous. The press described him as an untouchable man, but I discovered a completely different man, extremely sensitive, emotional and very shy. The first hour I met him, he asked me to describe the period of my youth. He didn't interrupt me and I was hearing my childhood story when three bombs destroyed my house and killed three members of my family. Michael when he played to me at the piano the song She's Out Of My Life when I talked about my mother's death, he gave me a hug and said that he was looking after us there in heaven, and was happy. I must say, Michael told me he had a real passion for classical music. His 3 favorite composers were Mozart, Prokofiev and Debussy. It was fantastic to discover so many common points: passion for music without limits, for peace and freedom, love for animals and for nature. In a word: for humanity!" β by FranΓ§ois Glorieux

"In 1992 we were leaving a KFC, when Michael Jackson met a fan on the street, they talked for a long time, Michael looked at her arms and asked why she hurt herself, the girl told him that throughout school They bullied her because of her physical appearance, Michael hugged her, kissed her and said: 'Swear to me by the promise of the pinky that you will never do it again, because it makes me sad. Those people envy you because you are cute.' From that moment I knew that Michael Jackson was the best person on the planet "- Eddie Murphy

"There were two Michaels. The first was an immensely creative and focused artist. It was Michael on stage or in the studio, a persona different from the one outside the microphone. When he didn't have a microphone he was very quiet and shy but then, when you got into a business conversation the artist would return.
Some of that Joe Jackson was coming up because he was a very, very experienced businessman. Many would be surprised how smart Michael was for business so when the conversation was over, he would come back with his behavior, shy, childish, sincere and playful.''

On June 12, 2003, Oscar winner Gregory Peck died at age 87. In addition to being one of Hollywood's most influential actors, Peck was also a close friend of Michael Jackson. Not surprisingly, the new widow Veronique Passani-Peck asked Michael to help her organize her husband's funeral services. And the King of Pop, unsurprisingly, offered to pay all the funeral and burial expenses. Just below, the letter the Pecks published in the media in 2003, following the screening of the infamous documentary Living with Michael Jackson and the famous exhibition of little Blanket "Dear Michael, you are recognized all over the world as a great artist, but few know you as a father. We've been friends for over 25 years. We spent a lot of time with you, Prince, Paris and Blanket, who often played with our grandchildren. We and our children, who are of your generation, always admire you as a loving and caring father. [Your children] They love and respect you. You have created them with kindness, kindness, and genuine concern for their well-being. Their joy and love are a reflection of their attention and love as a father. Those who criticize and judge you would do well to look at your family life. We have seen him countless times playing his role as a caring and devoted father, and we have joined his many friends who are now at his side and his family. Love, Veronique and Greg.

''When Michael was on tour, he kept a tape recorder next to his bed. Every night before he went to sleep, he listened to children's tales until he fell asleep. Michael was truly a Peter Pan. I remember the first time I photographed him, it was at Disneyland in 1980,and when he was recording a television show. During the breaks, he asked me to go with him at the park attractions: he was happy as a child.
All the pictures I took you realize your joke and innocence. Only later did he tell me to focus on his look, as George Hurrell did when he portrayed the great Hollywood stars of the thirties and forties.''
