Thank you Jaywonder & Co for your review. I appreciate a little critiquing and honest thoughts. I feel Thriller Live in the UK sort of done the same thing with jamming in way too many songs and lacked in story and context. This sort of confirms -for me- that MJ The Musical is a Thriller Live but on a bigger budget. I would prefer more of a life story than song after song that begins to feel like a concert because nobody ever quite does it for me like seeing the real MJ does. But hey, congrats to Myles, cast and crew. I’ll take the hype, hoopla, love-in and positivity it’s bringing. We see it for Beatles, Prince, Stones, Elvis every day of the decade(s), nice to see a bit of love/celebration for MJ. He had to talk me into doing the review because we were at the airport waiting for our flights and I was tired, anxious, AND hungry lol well hello to you. i didn't know that was you and your friend. i actually wrote an comment on your video. thank you for your review and honest opinion. 😉😜

It's not just the MJ musical. Tina and Hamilton are cancelled as well.

It's not just the MJ musical. Tina and Hamilton are cancelled as well. In all likelihood, it won't be the only time either. This Omicron bastard looks like it's just out to cause havok.

In my opinion fans and non fans have the right to point out the negative and positive of the show. i rather hear both so people can make their own decision.
not everyone gonna like everything we all different people.

He had to talk me into doing the review because we were at the airport waiting for our flights and I was tired, anxious, AND hungry lol I’m a little disappointed that they sort of overlook the Bad era given how life changing and special it was. As your friend says, had they set it at the Bad Tour it would have added a bit more weight given it was MJ’s first solo tour and him wanting to prove to the world -and himself I guess- how great he was. same. i hope that will be fixed. the bad era was when he actually shines. sadly, people tend to overlook it because of his face etc ugh. 🙄🙄🙄

If Nature referred to Lynn Nottage and Christopher Wheeldon, I'm conflicted about their involvement making that musical as well. They more likely had a price the estate easily afforded and they shielded themselves in the pretext of separating the art from the artist, which is absolute bullshit because Michael put much of him as the person in his art. exactly. if michael was alive this wouldn't exist and if it did michael would be doing it not these people. i understand the estate has to make money but making money off of people who believe in lies of MJ is crazy in my book. michael would never approve anyone who treated him badly. people who did got fired. smh.

I'm gonna try to put my negative and positive to this musical. what i start doing is if i feel the post is negative i will post and say it is that way people don't have to read it.
i'm here for both negative and positive opinions of the show both non fans and fans.

I should point out that since we all different people some people not gonna like somethings. i think one of problems in this community is that we all see things in a different point of view which means not everything gonna fit everyone taste.
nothing wrong with that. just it does cause division.

Especially unfortunate for those who travel to NY just to see the show. It's very difficult to make plans under the current circumstances. I wish COVID would go away already.

i think covid gonna be with us for awhile. i'm hoping next year things will get better. i don't think things gonna be back to normal for a very very long time.
this got nothing to do with the shows but the world in general. anyway, this is a mj musical thread so i'm keeping covid out of this.

This sort of confirms -for me- that MJ The Musical is a Thriller Live but on a bigger budget. I would see this if it toured. It can't be worse than Thriller Live. 2 hours of complete tack - cringed at the whole thing. How it's lasted as long as it has on the West End is a mystery to me. So not befitting of an artist of MJs calibre.
