Even if this documentary focuses on the MSM's treatment of MJ in general and not the allegations as a whole, I have more hopes for Jin's documentary than Taj's, TBH because Jin has been showing tidbits that he's working his butt off.
I'm glad he interviewed Linda. She restored some of my hope in humanity that are a few ethical journalists out there and I won't take these quotes of hers off my head because she couldn't have been more spot on about the assessment of that circus of a trial.

Unintentionally, Jin is making Taj look like an unfocused slacker here as he's showing snippets of work as well as expanded his film time whilst staying true to his original aim.

Maybe Taj is indeed an unfocused slacker, he hasn't showed anything of how the donations have been used, whereas Jin has conducted and filmed quite a bunch of interviews already.

How has Jin funded his? GoFundMe? There was some GoFundMe but he hasn't received nearly as much as Taj. I donated to him too but now I wish I'd have given him all what I gave to Taj, to be honest. |

Time for an update. Firstly thank you to everyone who is supporting this project and patiently waiting. When I started this project in 2020 I originally had the idea to finish the film in 2 years, of course since then I've surpassed my intention of the number of interviews, I felt would tell that story adequately, as I've mentioned the scope has grown so much – to really do this documentary series justice there is much more I'm putting into it. It's literally been my life since 2020.
I'm currently at a stage where I'm working on gaining funding to finish approximately 40-50% of the film. My goal is to get a distributor eventually for a big release, so things have to be done to get to that stage – which I'm currently doing. I haven't shared much online about the film as I feel I would like to keep everything a surprise from this point. There are some incredible interviews I've managed to get, incredible voices who have shared their stories, it's really been a rewarding experience for me let alone as a filmmaker.
To re-iterate this film is designed for everyone and the story encompasses topics important to all of us. I want to make the most powerful film I possibly can by studying other documentaries and engineering scripts from them, dissecting how the story is told, and applying the most effective storytelling in this film – my time has really been full of research, and this is just part of it. The storytelling as well as the visuals have to be at the highest degree, which is why I don't want to rush this project. A lot has been put in at this point and it deserves to be told right.
Once again thank you so much to everyone who is supporting this project, keep supporting, please. It really helps push the timeline of completion forward.

Checking in here, as I mentioned before I've been putting a pitch together to get this film to the next stage. It's been a long road so far, much longer than I anticipated. I've been spending the past few months creating a pitch to reach out to distributor's, I of course cannot share too much at this point but the feedback has been surprisingly positive. Everything at this point is tentative, so it's just the beginning, but this will hopefully lead to the stage that will help finish this doc-series.
It's been quite an intense year, challenging in many ways and the support here has helped immensely. It's tough to work full-time on a film and juggle the costs that life brings along, and at this point I myself have invested everything into this film, so the support this film has been getting is immense in pushing it forward, I can't understate that. I do truly believe in this project, I've collated my research into a document that puts the story in a sequence, from beat to beat, and it's compelling. It's a film I believe is perfect for today, told right everyone should be able to sympathize with this story – from fans to the general public. It is a story that has never been told before, and it truly deserves to be heard.
I've shared again a short video of my timeline - editing the pitch from the footage captured already, for you to see. I want to say thank you to everyone supporting, and if we can give another push on sharing and helping it would help greatly at this point and stage. Once again, thank you for the support and help. Hopefully the next update will contain some huge big news, fingers crossed.
