In The Back could have been a really interesting tune, its already an interesting demo. That beat isn't like anything he had done before or since. That's one I've always wished there was a more finished vocal for. Always liked it. I think this is a little known fact, but In The Back was originally on the tracklist for BOTD. When the tracklist was first announced, there was no mention of Superfly Sister, In The Back was the third track. One can only assume MJ intended to do a finished vocal take in time for its release. The fantasist in me hopes that there is a more vocally complete version than the one on TUC, but I have my doubts.

I think he probably just realised how much work he'd have to put into ITB and finished SS instead, it was much more complete, vocals were done etc.
