I wouldn't say TTD was British, what with him being American!

I would've bet my left ballsack that he was British. I even checked Wikipedia, in hopes of coming back to this thread and showing you up Tony, but alas, it says he was American. I'm still not sure I believe it to be honest.

I'm still not sure I believe it to be honest. Off topic, but to state "I would've bet my left ballsack" insinuates you have two ballsacks. Whilst I believe (and hope) you are the owner of two testicles, I imagine they are held within the same sack and you do not actually have one bollock per sack.
Please check & confirm back.

I have one regular ballsack and another that I keep tucked away for use in case of emergency. That explains it. Many thanks.

I thought I was the only one who liked or even remembered The Brand New Heavies. I used to wear off their Brother Sister album. They were my favourite acid jazz band. More so than Jamiroquai which was more popular. I also like the Pet Shop Boys. Actually they were my second favourite act after MJ when I was a kid at the end of the 1980s. I also like Level 42, Tears for Fears, Bowie, Elton John.

Terence Trent D'Arby (b. 1962 as Terence Howard, New York City, USA) is an American artist who lived in Germany and the UK, his parents were in the military in Germany and his first videos were shot in Britain.
TTD changed his name to Sananda Maitreya in 2000 and still releases music, now living full time in Italy with his Italian born wife. His biggest success was his debut album - Introducing the Hard Line according to .. which had 4 major Top 10 hits that were acclaimed and comparisons were made to Prince, George Michael and Michael Jackson. Follow up albums were not as successful, but he enjoyed further success with the songs Delicate, Let Her down easy and Holding on to you in the mid 1990s and acclaimed albums Symphony or Damn (1993) and Vibrator (1995).

My Top 15 Brit acts
1. David Bowie - No comparison, this artist is an enigma and to me the Prince of the 1970s, reinventing himself with a look and sound with each album from Hunky Dory to Lets Dance. 2. Elton John - Always loved his music and seen him live, although personally he is a bit over the top 3. Rolling Stones - Like a lot of their 60s and 70s songs 4. Beatles - another favourite, iconic music that lasts a lifetime 5. George Michael - Talented and gay, a perfect mix 6. Pet Shop Boys - Love their music, look and image 7. Thompson Twins - I loved 80s electro pop and this 80s collective had some unforgettable pop sounds 8. BeeGees - Enjoyed their music across various periods 9. Genesis/Phil Collins - Love some of their music, some PC but some of it is rather cheesy 10. Duran Duran - Classic 80s designer pop 11. Culture Club/Boy George - As above 80s pop excellence 12. Hot Chocolate - Classic 70s and early 80s dance band 13. Alison Moyet - Great British blue eyed soul singer, her first two albums are flawless 14. Paul Young - British crooner who has authentic blue eyed soul 15. Sade - Really love Sade's voice and they have some great songs.
Not Included
1. TTD - Consider him American 2. U2 - Great Band, but Irish 3. Jimi Hendrix Experience, again great music but not really British, Hendrix is American 4. Shirley Bassey, love her, but she is actually Welsh. 5. Simple Minds - as above, but they are Scottish.

I support Scottish Independence and Wales also wants Independence too. I support Who Is It being rereleased & getting to number one, but until that happens I can't count it as a Number One.
Anyway, most Scottish do not want independence, and Wales hasn't had a referendum to check, but the fact that they haven't even raised the possibility shows it's not wanted.
Not to take a topic off thread or anything....
