I find myself watching it a lot lately. I feel for any other artist this would be a top video, while in MJ's very rich body of work it is just considered to be one of the "lesser" ones. But it is such a beautifully done video by Herb Ritts, with great moves by MJ and Naomi being beautiful. MJ and Naomi have such a great chemistry. I also think the song is great and very underrated.

Not underrated by me, the ITC video is my fave from the Dangerous era. It's one of the best songs on the album too. For me, it's always been between ITC and WIi for best song on the album.

There's a discussion in the videos thread about songs that are better with the video...
ITC is one of those for me. Full enhances the song from great to brilliant.
Sexiest ever Mike and Naomi is just...wow
Another gorgeous Herb Ritts video.

Incidentally Sam Emerson loved shooting MJ on this set because Herb Ritts was a fellow photographer.

When I first saw it in the mid 90s I thought he looked so handsome. I also think it was inspired by Janet’s video with Herb Ritts Love will never do without you

I remember watching it with a couple of boys when i was 13, and all they could talk about was her boobs. I was so annoyed lol

I also think it was inspired by Janet’s video with Herb Ritts Love will never do without you It was and, if I'm not mistaken, it was filmed in the same location in the Mojave Desert. Ritts did a photoshoot in the same location around the time of Janet's video called Rhythm of Love. Looking at his work, you'll see a lot of his late '80s references in ITC. No mistaking his style. Mad Michael didn't do a photoshoot with him much sooner - quite a few celebrities did. Bruce Springsteen, Cindy Crawford, Tina Turner...even Prince. Michael essentially hopped on the bandwagon after others and, while I like ITC, it's not really unique to MJ. It's classic Herb Ritts. I wouldn't put it as one of his top 5 best though. Michael does some brilliant dancing though, especially outro bit.

I wish there was an actual extended mix of ITC.

Personally, I start tuning out just before the halfway point, but not with the video. And I much prefer the video mix too. Just binge watched a few Herb Ritts music videos, actually! ITC is definitely one of Ritts' best, for sure. Janet's one is great too. I think Herb was incapable of taking a crap shot of anyone in photo or film form. Just beautiful work. Janet & Michael both looked amazing in their videos.

Love this video. A classic to me. The chemistry between the two is quite something. Sexy as hell but classy

I also appreciate the intro to in the closet on the HIStory tour in Munich. It looks hot, almost like a burlesque performance lol

When I first saw it in the mid 90s I thought he looked so handsome. I also think it was inspired by Janet’s video with Herb Ritts Love will never do without you The two videos are definitely similar, but I don't know if you can call that an inspiration, since it's the the same director and it's simply his own style. That MJ decided to work with him was probably because he liked Janet's video, if that's what we call inspiration, then yes. It's the Janet video I like the most of all her videos. When I was thinking of making my Top 10 music videos list in the other thread this was the strongest contender by Janet, but at the end it didn't end up in the Top 10.

Her video is in my top 10, she’s so beautiful and confident in it, and that inspires me He has spoken about being inspired by the Rhythm Nation era, so this was part of that I’m sure. Janet was an influencer
