I really love the Off The Wall elements in the Love Never Felt So Good version featuring JT.
I’ve not listened to this album in awhile but this morning it really felt like a celebration of Michael.
When the album finished my Spotify immediately went into Remember The Time! How fitting. Oh Michael we miss what you brought.
Remember The Time was part of my Barcelona soundtrack for last year. To be actually driving through the Spanish countryside -Well, Catalonia- as the sun set behind the mountains was magical. I now have 2 separate lifelong memories of Remember The Time from both Catalonia and New Zealand. Apologies, wrong thread.

I’ve changed my original vote in order to stand in unison with Tony. The original Xscape? Delicious! Those vocal harmonies on the bridge are immense Michael. Good boy Aaron, you know it makes sense.

Every time I listen to the Xscape album I can’t deny how absolutely feel good and breezy it is. I wouldn’t change a thing about the gold deluxe version. It flows perfectly for me.

It flows perfectly for me. Aside from the inferior mix of DWKWYCA the whole thing works for me as a concept. Like you've put above, the whole campaign was good. Even the hologram mis-step had its benefits (one of those things that was only slated by fans really). Easily the best collection of songs not to make the Canon. 1000% times better than every outtake from Thriller40 or Bad 25.

I might change my mind next week so I reserve the right to edit this post, but yeah I agree.

Xscape and the 7 track version of Michael are better listening experiences than the Bad25 and Thriller40 bonus discs.

I loved Xscape when it came out and still love it today. Even though at its core, it's just a collection of odds and sods, it feels like a cohesive album.
It misses a ballad, MJ always had a good ballad on every album, but Xscape feels a bit more like BOTD in that way, designed for the dancefloor, no time for sentimentality.
Unlike a lot of other fans, I rarely listen to the original demos, except for maybe the title track. I really like the work Timbaland and StarGate and the other producers did on side one.

Xscape and the 7 track version of Michael are better listening experiences than the Bad25 and Thriller40 bonus discs. Michael was dog turd. The 3 Cascio songs were just the little whipped tip that was shaped by the canine sphincter as it snaked out.

Very vivid.
