All so obvious this was going to happen. All pre planned with the calls of fraud to do with the postal votes over the last few weeks. Its his calling card if its close run. Then if they are lucky they might end up with civil war!
I thought dubbu made american look like a laughing stock but this has really taken the biscuit.

Odds currently in Biden's favour. Mental to think where it was early this morning.
Troubling time ahead for the States, but positive figures atm.

Fair point on the celebrity thing. Especially in todays climate. But still, how is this so close!? What is going on America? Besides the celebrity thing I wonder if this is partly the media's fault. By no means I'm a Trump fan (if I was American I would have voted for Biden) but I can't bear to watch CNN for at least 4 years because it's just a Trump bashfest 24/7. I mean yeas he's a horrible human being but maybe it would be more productive to calmly explain to people, including the white blue collar worker in the South why the Democraic plan, like basic universal healthcare etc would be better for them. I think that would be more productive than ranting about Trump's stupid tweets 24/7 and calling his supporters racist (even if they are). I really think the liberal media partly created the monster Trump and many people vote for him because they hate the liberal elite and media.

It's true, but I'd argue the right wing media is much worse with their misinformation and conspiracy theories. It's basically choose your own confirmation bias echo chamber. But I would say stations like CNN and ABC deal more with facts than a FOX news or even more extreme OAN. I also think the media represents the state of the 2 parties. There is partisanship both ways but I personally think one side does it worse than the other.

But while Fox News is one major channel, 90-95 percent of the media is so called liberal. So it is not quite an even playing field IMO. The media has always massively leaned liberal.
(And I will never forgive them that actually liberal media - like MSNBC, NBC, CNN, CBS, etc not to mention the print media - has been the most vicious towards MJ. So I don't trust either side when it comes to the media.)

Ironic people cringe at celebrities endorsing Democrats but Americans elected a reality TV star to run their country. ๐ For the world's sake, climate change policy wise, I hope Biden wins.

Funny how now Trump fans go on about how it is suspicious that mail-in ballots flipped some states when Trump spent the last half years with telling his fans that mail-in voting is not safe so they should vote in person. So of course mail-in ballots will be overwhelmingly Dem, nothing suspicious about that after Trump vilified mail-in voting.

I also donโt know why theyโd be surprised mail-in votes is up the year of, I donโt know, a global pandemic that is ravaging through the United States? Then again, many Trump supporters genuinely think heโs done a great job tackling it (and thus wouldnโt be afraid to stand in lines for hours close to possibly infected people) so itโs embarrassingly no surprise.

The whole process (aside from the hilarious claims of fraud) is fascinating to follow. Never understood/bothered to try to understand the electoral colleges before. All looking good for Biden so far, given that it's mostly mail in votes that are to be counted. Maybe Donski could have expected more mail in votes if he hadn't strongly fought against them! Results from Arizona due in the next 30.

It was so predictable it was going to end up like this. It's not the first election to end this way. Such a shambles.

Hopefully Biden will manage to calm things down a bit. I read somewhere that even Obama thought, when they first met, that Biden was "awfully boring", but probably a boring president is just what the USA and the World needs now. CNN and other liberal media might have to fire half their staff though, because what are they going to do now without having Trump to endlessly rant about? LOL.
The danger is now in far right movements becoming energized by the loss. It seems to me that extremists of the side that's in opposition are usually energized by being in opposition. Like Tea Party energized under Obama and Antifa energized under Trump. On the other hand I think now Antifa will be neutralized a bit.
As a non-American to me the most important thing is that Biden keeps his promises re. handling climate change. First step is to rejoin the Paris Agreement, but other than that, real action is required from the USA.

Thankfully, Biden tweeted about your last comment last night, so he already has his sights set on righting that moronic wrong of Trumps. I share your sentiments.
