After performing in front of 450,000 fans with the Bad World Tour show in Japan, Michael Jackson stopped a month before moving to Oceania. The King of Pop took a month's rest to visit China, Hong Kong and Macau; in Hong Kong Michael visited Shaw Brothers Studios [the largest film production company in southeast China]. At the time, Michael asked to wear typical clothes that the actors wore on the set. The photo unpublished by Sam Emerson shows the King of pop wearing a dragon costume of the Chinese emperor in the company of an actress.

In the middle of the Bad world tour, between stops in Japan and Australia, the King of Pop took a break in Hong Kong โspending 3 weeks visiting famous tourist attractions such as Ocean Park and Shaw Brothers Studio. Then unpublished photos of Michael were revealed by his personal chef, Akasha Richmond: ''... so many memories of him, most of these photos are from a trip to Hong Kong and a day in Macau. My work was a lot of fun, I remember none of us liked lunch in Macau, so we ate some sandwiches I brought when we got back to the car.''
