To be honest, the only albums that are in order are 1-3 Your list is partcularly great, the bolded are in my Top 20 and itlaics are albums I rate highly too. Yeah, I'd noticed Station to Station was in your list. Anyone that chooses that as their favourite Bowie album clearly thinks outside of their own brain and deeper in the universe. |

^^ To be honest, only the top 5 would make my top 20 every single time. The others are just albums I really love, which could easily be replaced by other albums I like just as much.
For example, I could easily include a whole bunch of albums from Black Sabbath, all of Scott Weilands bands, Bumblefoot, RHCP, The Time, Chaka Khan, The Smiths, The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Jacksons etc.

It is cool you added Dream Factory, would be in my list too if this was the prince.org, but being MJJ I did not want to confuse some of our non fans of Prince like Phony R. That thing is superlative, Dream factory, All of my dreams, a place in heaven and sitars on Strange Relationship, who could ask for more?

And I just realised I left my favourite Madonna albums off the list. So #21 is Erotica, which to me is her only perfect album along with #22 Like a Prayer, both are peak Madonna and Erotica is her best and funniest and the greatest with her doing what she does the best, being a complete bitch - take a song like Thief of Hearts and then the repentant sound of Rain. There is so much perfrection here.
