Mine is Break of Dawn, Heaven Can wait and You rock my world - some of the most deeply satisfying singing he has ever done, and it is off the lambasted Invincible album - but this is a patch on that album where it is like these 3 tracks are culmination of everything Michael Jackson had done before - the end product of one of the best voices in music. I love you for this Triumph. I agree that Break of Dawn - HCW - YRMW is a great run. Infact, I'd add Butterflies and Speechless after it as well - five straight songs of pure greatness, before the steaming boyband turd that is 2000 Watts rears its ugly head. I also love the last three songs, The Lost Children - Whatever Happens - Threatened. There's some legitimately great stuff on that album. Just a shame that some of the best songs from that era never actually made it onto the record and dross like 2000 Watts, Privacy and Cry did.

I agree with most of this and can see how Invincible could actually have been a great album. However none of the songs you mention are a patch on the Top 3 on other albums. Itโs also a shame that TTA is track 4 on HIStory. The run of TDCAU, SIM and Earth Song is on a par with WII, GITM, WYBT.

This isn't necessarily about your top 3 songs on each album, just consecutive runs of three great songs.

Totally I would add those two to make that 5 song run, definitely the great middle part of that album after 3 dance songs of declining quality and add the rapper cameos to ruin them. Those tracks 4 to 8 are gold then like you said the Boybandy 2000Watts, which does sound like a c.1999 Machine pumped dance song by N'sync or Backdoor boys and a lot of patchy sentimental (Oh weep for these children, and I love you so don't leave me alone) dreck after it.
