Constantly tempted by it. Let me know how it is. Would love to hear the stories behind Earth Song, TDCAU, Little Susie and Breaking News.

I received this today. Guys it’s an absolutely stunning book! I paid £16:99 on Amazon for it and it’s definitely a bargain! It weighs a ton but it’s filled to the brim with beautiful photos on really nice matt paper. Love the smell of the paper. This would have been more in the upwards of £38 quid range in a bookstore. I really recommend this at the price. It’s a beautiful piece for the collection. Edit]Actually, looking at the barcode on the back there’s a recommended retail price of £45.

I see its only 4 quid for the kindle edition. But looks like it should be a physical purchase. What's the stories like? Obvious things or proper stuff you didn't know? And is it mainly about the greatest hits or do you get proper facts about album tracks?

And is it mainly about the greatest hits or do you get proper facts about album tracks? It needs to be the physical book as it’s something you’ed dip in and out of as much as read from beginning to end. The presentation would be completely lost on a kindle. It’s beautifully presented and it’s more like a piece of art memorabilia for display or a coffee table, or even a shelf. It loses its point as a Kindle book in my opinion. It weighs a ton and the pleasure in it is picking it up and browsing through it for the pictures and info. I haven’t read much from it yet but it basically covers every track that MJ worked on that we know of including tracks that he worked on for others, for example Janet, Rebbie, La Toya, but then more elusive tracks that he had a hand in like Donna Summer, or Ralph Tresvant’s Alright Now, or Barry Gibb etc. It profiles major players also such as Berry Gordy, Gamble & Huff etc. There’s also little boxes titled For Jackson Addicts with little trivia info. There’s probably a mixture of things you know and bits of info you didn’t or had forgotten about. Honestly, I got this on Amazon with free postage and just feel it’s an absolute steal for £16:99. Recently Mojo released their Deluxe edition Beatles guide red and blue in magazine format for £20 -no I didn’t buy it- and this is a solid heavy coffee table book. Anyways, I know money is tight with the pandemic and so many bills but I’m glad I treated myself on this one.

My brothers got me this gorgeous Dangerous album sweatshirt for my birthday! 😍 I tried to show it as much as I could but the picture needs to be full to show it off in all its glory. If I manage to have taken a full pic, I'll edit this post. In the meantime this is a rare moment of me smiling.
