I’ve fallen in love with Spotify premium.
I’ve downloaded so much and it’s made me fall in love with so many tunes I’d forgotten about. Or versions I hadn’t heard.
I’ll always prefer physical formats but Spotify is just bliss.

Well, we had an awful morning this morning.
My son was rushed to hospital in an ambulance (his second ambulance trip in his short 2.5yrs) with breathing difficulties and gasping for breath. It was one of the most stressful and scary things we've ever been through as a family and although he has stabilized, he is still very unwell.
He's really been through the mill and I'd do just about anything for him to be better.
Argh! Why is life so stressful???
2019 has been dreadful for my family. I usually hate it when people moan about years, but I keep thinking 2020 can't possibly be as cruel and relentless as 2019 has been so far.

I'm sorry you and your family has to go through that, that's awful. What's wrong with your son?

Is there a diagnosis why it happened? I hope he gets well soon.

He has a lot of trouble with his breathing as he was born with chronic lung disease. Fairly common childhood illnesses like croup or bronchiolitis end up becoming quite serious for our little man due to his underdeveloped lung capacity. Thankfully he's picked up a lot since they've given him some steroids and an inhaler and we are now home after a day from hell.
I've found having kids to be such a rollercoaster ride of emotions. I swear I've aged ten years in the last three. But it's such a strange thing, as despite all the daily stress, worry and heartache, I wouldn't change a thing. I love him more than anything.

Thinking of your small lad my man, and you guys too.

I just had my My Heritage DNA test done. I found out I'm part Italian and Greek. Southern Italian at that. Which is a pretty surprising because nothing about my phenotype says southern. Lol. Though my mother says her grandfather was a dark skinned, dark haired man and no one knew where he was from. My mother's father is dark haired too. So probably it's from that part of the family.
Apparently I have this ethnicity in my DNA:
Who knew I was descendant of the ancient Greeks and Romans. LOL.

I think I've said on here before (maybe not) but I started meditation a while back and then kinda fell off. I'm gonna start again because frankly I feel pants most of the time and I feel it'll help at least a little. I'm using the headspace app and the guy on it is great.
