So, call me a bitch or whatever, but Chrissy Tiegan posting pics of her looking sad from her hospital bed after literally just having a miscarriage strikes me as one of the most narcissistic celebrity things I've ever witnessed, and that's saying something. Of course, it goes without saying that suffering a miscarriage is an awful trauma, I've had two myself, so I know what I'm talking about. But for one of your first thoughts to be capturing that devastating and painful moment on camera so you can broadcast it around the world on your social media is just plain odd and a bit sick imho. I guess that's what happens when you're famous for being famous. That's honestly how I felt about it when I saw the picture. Just seemed like a way to get more sympathy or likes or something. I've seen people be shamed for pointing this out but it could have been a simple statement without any picture and it would have done the same thing. |
