Funny work related memory.... I was playing pool in a pub with this Down Syndrome lad I was supporting. Some guys are waiting around the pool table and after 10-15mins one of them approaches me and says "I get what you're doing, it's nice to try and let him win and all, but me and my mates are waiting to have a go?".
Oh yeah, that's what I'm doing. Totally letting him win. Not getting my arse kicked at all. Honest.

Don't think anyone here will be interested but I've started uploading remasters of lq recordings I've made to youtube, I'll be uploading more as time goes on. I've uploaded now and then by John Lennon, I raised the vocals considerably and generally cleaned it up. I also tried to make sure the vocals had the same volume throughout as it fluctuated on the recording I have at various points.

I find Lennon utterly compelling and I could pretty much listen to him sing nursery rhymes or just listen to him talk for hours on end. I find Lennon’s completely un-PC approach completely refreshing. Different times as well I guess, but I just love his raw honesty and candidness. |
