Kazumi Squirts says āsex is my lifestyle missionā and āI had a weird life mission to shag a person from every countryā I mean thatās fairly aspirational. Name one among us who wouldnāt?!

Was just reading an article in which Giles Martin was asked if he is going to remix Rubber Soul and he basically said that the software to separate mixed audio isn't good enough yet. I use software like that and it is getting better all the time, a lot of them use AI and I guess that is the promise that it'll get better. I'm not sure if it will ever be good enough to do what would need to be done with those songs though.

Yeah theyāve been doing a lot of research and experimenting with it over at Abbey Road Studios for some years now. A few years ago they gave a demonstration of some demixing they did on She Loves You, and it was fascinating hearing Georgeās guitar isolated for the most part. While not perfect, I was really impressed, blown away even. Even though it was a closed demonstration, someone had recorded it on their phone and leaked it online which is how I heard it, but the link was taken down a while later so I canāt show you sadly. Even though I was impressed, I imagine Giles would have a much higher standard when it comes to everything (and I imagine each song presents itās own challenges anyway), but I hope we can see something in the next few years regardless. They used demixing technology previously on the 2016 reissue of the Hollywood Bowl live album, to help reduce the screaming fans and bring more clarity to the performance.

Speaking of technology like that, Peter Jackson talks briefly about using it in this Get Back video. Some extra footage as well.
