If some trans activists are adamant in denying biological sex, they're denying gender dysphoria as well. Absolutely. Itβs a load of bollocks ainβt it?! And people pretending to play along are worse. Why would anyone WANT a period? I'm sure most bio women would gladly do without them. Besides, like I always say, never trust something that bleeds once a month and doesn't die.

Got a stinking cold, just as we were due to go to London to celebrate my wifes birthday. Bloody typical.

I want to bitch about childcare. I don't understand why people choose to have kids when they're always palming them off onto grandparents, as if they're secondary caregivers.
My sister has 2 kids and my parents (now just my Dad) are always babysitting them. She has them stay at my Dads for 10 days at a time while she goes away. This happens at least once, sometimes two or three times a year. He'll regularly go to hers and have them all day/week long in the school holidays whilst she's at work.
Then my Dad is exhausted and I feel too bad to ever ask for any help. For the most part, we rarely want help, as we both like having our son with us and manage pretty well balancing childcare with work between the two of us. But when certain things come up, like right now, when I'm feeling dog rough with a bad cold and the other half has to work, I feel too guilty to ask my Dad for help, as my sister wears him out.
I've seen this before with my sister-in-law, who used my mother-in-law as a free babysitter Mon-Fri for years on end. I don't understand how some people can be so shameless. Why do people have kids if they don't want to prioritise spending time with them?
I know it probably sounds like I'm bitching cuz I have no childcare, but it's not about that. I wouldn't want to use my Dad in that way, but it'd be nice to feel like I could reach out from time to time for some help. My Dad has a heart of gold and would never say no, but I refuse to take advantage of that, unlike my sister.
Okay, rant over.

Got a stinking cold, just as we were due to go to London to celebrate my wifes birthday. Bloody typical. That's a balls. I had a rough one 2 weeks ago, lasted like 8 days. Really bad cough. Seems to have passed here now, but everyone was choking and sniffling a few weeks ago.

This is why I don't understand why people even want kids in the first place. Sounds like all work and no play to me. I never wanted kids, which is a good job, because nobody in their right mind would agree to have them with me. But there's a lot to be learnt from the lifestyle of LGBT people. I know some LGBT people have kids, but the majority have the good sense to not wreck their lives with the thankless obligation of parenthood. And as for single parents, how they haven't all topped themselves by now I don't know. I guess I'm just too selfish for all that malarkey.

It is a lot of work though and don't let anybody tell you otherwise. I really feel for parents who never connected or bonded with their offspring, because it really is a relentless job with no day off. You get through it because you love them more than anything in life and if you're close, you genuinely enjoy their company and watching them grow. Me and the missus can't wait for the school holidays so we can have him all to ourselves. But if for some reason you never felt that parental bond, it must be tough. I just wanted to bitch about my sister tbh, not about parenthood.
