If it's the ones I've got then fake all the way. Dangerous is in one disc so most of the songs are edits.
Look nice though. The Thriller one looks less professional. There's a thread on here somewhere.

What a complete rip-off £190 for the set or £55 each, something he was not about was ripping his fans off.

I used to be really into vinyl, and to be honest I can still appreciate the artform, but those ridiculous prices are why I stopped collecting.

Probably won't be getting this as I doubt they'll sound any good.

I don't get why people are forking out big bucks for vinyl these days when 20 yrs ago you couldn't give it away. I still have all the original MJ albums on vinyl (including Invincible) - no need to fork out again.
I did see Xscape recently and was tempted, but it didn't have the original demos and I never listen to the remixes.

Someone bought for me what I thought it was the Thriller 25th vinyl back in 2009 but picture discs are diffent than solid vinyl records. It literally came in a plastic package, that's what I didn't like but the disc looks beautiful. I hope these new ones don't come in a plastic package like mine. Picture discs are records that appear to have pictures, images, or graphics on their playing surface. While most phonograph records are black, except for the label in the center, picture discs may display a photograph or artwork over the entire playing surface. Picture discs look like round photographs, though unlike photographs, they can also play music. From a manufacturing standpoint, picture discs consist of a solid core, made of plastic, paper, or metal, that has a paper image placed over it. The core and photo are then covered with clear vinyl and the grooves are pressed on top of them using traditional record presses. This process necessarily uses less vinyl in the grooves than standard records, and often yields less-than-optimal sound quality. Because of their substandard sound quality, most picture discs are produced as limited edition products, generally targeted at collectors, and are intended to supplement the supply of standard black vinyl records. Side A Side B

Funny enough, the recent Record Store Day release of the Twin Peaks OST sounded better than the vinyl I got last year.
I will actually listen to my Bad 25 pic disc later to check the quality. Will post pics if people want to see that too

My picture disc collection started with the original Thriller one on the day of release back in early 80's and I've never used one for playback as they are completely crackle city. Wouldn't pay these stupid prices and agree that it's just the 'fashion' at the moment with ridiculous cost. The record companies are taking advantage for nostalgia reasons.
