Great night had by all in Dublin! OMG, I'm jealous as hell. What an amazing picture. Don't care what anyone says, The Jacksons are legends in their own right and deserve more respect from MJ fans. Innuendo - how was the show? Did they say much at the M&G? The show was WAY better than when I saw them last year, sheerly because this time it was painfully obvious that they were actually LOVING every minute and not going through the motions. They kept smiling, laughing at each other, even Jermaine laughed and giggled when he was fighting not to. Plus we got State of Shock. Thats a very very special song for me. And it was brilliant. To be honest, i dont know how much they said cos I ended up being star struck. I remember just saying "state of shock lads, state of shock!". When i was leaving Marlon pulled me back for a handshake and another thank you

There's not many people I would get starstruck around, but just knowing you're standing next to four of the five brothers who did that legendary Ed Sullivan show performance in 1969.... what a surreal thought! That's definitely a life experience to treasure.

That was when I became a Jacksons fan in 89. It really was special. I'll never forget it.

I know what you mean. The only brother who acted without any entitlement towards Michael seemed to be Tito. Some of his brothers did shocking things to Michael while he was alive. It made me feel quite nauseous seeing Janet post a picture on her social media page the other day, cuddling up to her "big brother Randy"..... Is she even aware what a scumbag he was to Michael in his later years? Taking payment to tip off the press as to MJs whereabouts etc. Talk about Judas. Randy really was his fathers son - anything for money. Randy is a fucked up individual and the way he’s been meddling in her re bet affairs is concerning. On one hand he’s helping her rebrand and get back into the spotlight. On the flip side he was causing unnecessary controversy in the press with her divorce. He runs to aid his siblings but was an absentee father to his own. What else did Randy do to MJ?I always felt he was selling stories to Roger along with Karen. There was the story when in 2008 Randy's crazy ass crashed through MJ gate with a car, threatening him, claiming he owed him money. (I doubt it that MJ owed him any money, but even if he did that's obviously not the way.) The bodyguard's book has that story in great detail. MJ wanted to go to a party by Liz Taylor that night, he had a good mood, buying gifts etc. Then this incident happened and it completely ruined his mood He didn't go to the party. Locked himself to his room and didn't come out for days. That this crashing-through the gate did happen was comfirmed by Randy's girlfriend in a deposition at the AEG trial. (Randy's aggressivity is well documented. There is also a story with Tina Turner from the 1980s, where Tina had to shoot at Randy's raging ass to chase him away, after he broke into Tina's home looking for his girlfriend who stayed with Tina at the time. He was also locked up in a mental institute in the early 90s for domestic violence.) The whole shady business around the website Randy and Karen Faye operated during the trial (fans were ripped off). There is also a testimony from MJ in 2006 where he said Randy and some shady business partner that he had pressured MJ to sign away his catalogue and when he didn't want to Randy got very angry with him and pressured him. And yes, I think he was behind some of tabloid stories as well. Particularly behind some stories after MJ's death in which MJ's kids were trashed. There was a tabloid website (I don't remember the name now, X-something) that seemed to be regularly fed by Randy at a time. The articles were always about how horrible MJ's kids were. And I think his opposition to the MJEstate doesn't stem from any principle or worry for MJ's legacy, or anything like that, but from the resentment that he can't get to MJ's money. That's the same reason why he resents MJ's kids, IMO.

^wow. And people say only MJ was 'fucked up' and that he has no excuse because his brothers grew up the same way and aren't crazy. Yeah right.

Gotta admit Nigel, that's a cool pic!! Maybe I would cross the street after all to get my photo taken with them, but like respect77, I wouldn't travel for it. But I don't travel for anything anymore. Holidays, concerts... they become a distant memory when you have an ankle biter!!!

Hell no, they are only backing singers with dubious pasts that rode on MJ's coat tails for far too long, as much as I love the J5/Jacksons I wouldn't of been listening/watching without the main man.

I feel the same way. I wouldn't call them legends, they're famous because of Michael at best. He did most of the job during the J5 days and carried their butts on the Jacksons' records. They helped him to write songs but he always carried them. It's true Jackie and Marlon are the least worst offenders but they all pestered him to work with them or touring even in his darkest moments. When Randall crashed MJ's gate was in 2007, he was living in Las Vegas and Elizabeth Taylor celebrated her 75th birthday but Michael didn't want to bring her negative attention or problems if Randall followed him, that's why hw didn't attend.

Forgot to add that if there are people who still want to attend their shows or want to meet them in spite of everything, to each their own. It's good to hear they gave a good show and people had a great time, I mostly heard the opposite in previous years.

The whole shady business around the website Randy and Karen Faye operated during the trial (fans were ripped off). Never did get that joining pack, what was it a photo and something? I know money was gathered from fans (I think besides fan items, there was also a promise of meeting MJ) and they never saw anything for it. Meanwhile MJ was fighting for his life in court. I know some fans even contemplated suing but they eventually abandoned it because they knew it would only bring negativity on MJ in the media, not on the actual perpetrators, Randy and Karen. They took advantage of the fact that MJ was in a vulnerable state and he had his hands full with the trial and they ripped off his fans for money. It was ugly. This is why I don't get the fans who follow Karen's every word on Twitter as if she was a good friend. She was another vulture, who hurt MJ in more than one ways and continues to do so on Twitter. She is still defensive of everything Randy does, of course. But Randy isn't on the photo. At least the other brothers are doing their thing to make their own money. What is Randy doing these days except for plotting to make himself the executor of MJ's Estate somehow?

It was interesting because they were always described as great kids before hand and by everyone but a few of them. Some of the Jackson’s are money hungry. If they really cared about his legacy they would find a way to co-exist with the estate. I think the Jackson’s concerns against the estate were valid but they just go about everything the wrong way.
