Time for a subject that could get kinda touchy...do you think he exaggerated to Ed Bradley(was that his name?) how much he was abused by the SBPD. He claimed he was locked in a restroom with feces on the walls, and that the handcuffs were too tight, if I recall correctly.

I remember some fans at the time accusing him of lying about this. But then there were the pictures he put out, so are they implying he faked those too? ![](https://pbs.twimg.com/media/ChJhzeqWUAIuZBV.jpg) ![](http://www.foxnews.com/images/208170/0_22_jackson_michael_bruises1.jpg)

IIRC, in response to MJs allegations, the SBPD released audio of MJ in the back of the car being taken to the police station and in it you can hear the officers asking if the handcuffs were too tight and MJ says they were fine. Why they were recording him I don't know.... but it didn't help MJs case.

well they brutalized his home and the case was a witchhunt and he was racially Profilled and falsely accused of being a Sexual Predator with no evidence.
they raided and destroyed his home and his privacy . and his whole being as a man

When it comes to this stuff I will always give him the benefit of the doubt.

When it comes to this stuff I will always give him the benefit of the doubt. This. Also, Michael was a highly sensitive individual, and he probably felt a bit of fear in telling them they were too tight, especially if the police were rough with him beforehand. We don't really know what was going through his mind in those moments. You all have to remember that Michael was abused as a child. Even if ( big IF) the police weren't as brutal as he claims they were, he probably perceived it to be a horrifying and painful experience. Any kind of force and aggression would be brutal to him. Still, considering how they destroyed his house and rigorously pursued him with these allegations, I have no doubt that there was some unnecessary physical aggression towards him by the police. These people had been waiting to do this to Michael for a very long time...and they enjoyed doing it.

I'm unsure of these claims honestly.

The fact that even South Park made an episode that made fun of MJ and humiliated the Police departments of South Park and California for racially profiling MJ is clear proof they did. Do you guys honestly think rednecked white cops will go easy on a Black megastar who was accused of child molestation - never. These are guys who would humiliate the crap out of MJ even if he had been caught Jaywalking.

I can totally believe that they weren't super nice to him.But he claimed that they locked him in a stinking room for an hour, I have trouble believing that story to be honest.

It may soud extreme, but I doubt Michael was lying, the TV interview and the photos were proof of just how traumatic it was for him.

I don't think they would have locked him in the bathroom for literally an hour but it might have felt that way for MJ even if it was "just" 15 minutes. I doubt MJ timed when he went to the bathroom and when he came back. Of all the things to be sceptical about when it comes to MJ, this is where I draw the line. I'm not going to pick apart everything he said to prove him wrong. Perhaps he exaggerated some things, perhaps he misinterpreted some things, but if MJ said he felt abused by the police I believe him. Haven't you been watching the news lately?

They went after him hard, I guess it wouldn't surprise me.
But it didn't come across all that credibly on 60 Minutes.

I wish he survived :/ His story was not complete yet. I wanted a full circle. Unfortunately he had to die for that to happen
