I am 100% against photos of Michael being digitally altered, manipulated and photoshopped. I feel it is changing Michael from the real person he was into a fantasy recreation. I feel we are loosing the history, how Michael really looked, and places and things he did. I don't like when people photoshop Michaels head and face onto someone else's body. I don't like people using photoshop and other aps to change the shape and colour of Michaels face. The ones that really upset me are where people photoshop their face over a person with Michael in the real photo.
In the last 10 years of Michaels life most people know I travelled around Europe and USA to see Michael at various events, concerts and outside hotel. I have so many photos I took of Michael that I have never put online. I have some of them in a photo album which I show to fans in real life, as I feel its important that the stories are shared and kept alive and that fans who never got the chance to see him in person can know what it was like.
I know there are many fans like me, fans from those last 10 years 1999 to 2009 who took so many photos of Michael and who will never put those photos online.
So do you agree or disagree? What are your thoughts on digitally altered, manipulated and photoshopped photos of Michael?

i agree and disagree.
some fans take the photos to create art and memories of Michael.
while others especially the new young ones like to change his face, eyes, etc.
i think they do it just for fun. but i understand what you mean.

It bothers me too, like theyโre trying to rewrite and appropriate his history

If it's something like the Estate doing it then yeah it's a bit weird in my opinion, they seem obsessed with altering MJ generally. I don't really pay attention to what fans online do though, it's cringe but nothing to do about it really.
