Jailed Hollywood private eye says he has dirt on Michael Jacksonpagesix.com/2018/02/14/jailed-hollywood-private-eye-says-he-has-dirt-on-michael-jackson/By Laura Italiano February 14, 2018 | 1:08pm Michael Jackson and Anthony Pellicano AP Notorious Hollywood fixer Anthony Pellicano still isn’t giving up the goods on his roster of A-lister clients — but in a new prison interview, he slams former star client Michael Jackson, and hints he may be willing to dish some more once he’s sprung. He “fired” Jackson out of disgust — over behavior even darker than alleged in the singer’s molestation scandal, Pellicano tells the Hollywood Reporter. “I was offered $500,00 to tell the whole story by a tabloid,” he said. “And I declined, even though, while incarcerated, I needed the money.” He’s really going to need money once he’s freed in a year, though, he noted. “A lot of people are quaking that I’m going to disclose lots of things when I get out.” Before he was thrown in prison in 2008 over wiretapping and intimidation scandals, Pellicano was the aggressive, go-to private eye for celebrities in trouble. His client list included Elizabeth Taylor, Tom Cruise, Sylvester Stallone, Roseanne Barr, Garry Shandling and Courtney Love. “They’ll just have to keep quaking, won’t they?” he taunted in the recent interview. “I’m not stupid. Unless something has greatly degraded, I still have an IQ of 167.” Once he gets out, modern technology and social media would only make it easier for him to ply his investigative trade, he also mused. For now, though, as he sits in a Southern California prison still one year short of release, Pellicano sounds bitter — and a touch paranoid. “I changed a lot of lives for the better, helped a whole lot of people who were all grateful at the time,” he said.

So the fact that this man is a convicted felon means nothing when it comes to determining whether he is a trustworthy and honest source?
MJ himself once said, the bigger the star, the bigger the target. Nobody is offering half a million dollars to dish dirt on Tom Cruise or Courtney Love.
This reminds me of those Neverland employees who were prepared to make their stories more lurid if the price was right.

*Sigh* There's always something. If it's true about him threatening to release dirt on MJ then it's clearly lies. Pellicano didn't 'fire' MJ. How does a PI fire somebody they were working for? Pellicano left the MJ case when Bert Fields was fired. Pellicano stated after leaving the case he believed MJ to be innocent. Then later in 1994 he was on tape telling a reporter that he still believed MJ to be innocent. I'm on the fence as to the veracity of these claims by the person who interviewed him. The stuff about MJ looks like a rehash of an article from 2011 by the Daily Beast that claimed Pellicano had said MJ did 'something far worse than abuse young boys'. Yet that same article contradicted that quote when they posted this picture with the interview: The Daily Beast then became aware of this contradiction and removed the image. They then later removed the entire article. Also, the whole 'I quit as he did much worse' thing goes against Pellicano's mentality. Pellicano even said he told MJ, ''You don’t have to worry about cops or lawyers. If I find out anything, I will fuck you over.'' Pellicano isn't the type to just 'walk away quietly'. Add to this the fact that Pellicano absolutely hated Evan Chandler. So there are only two outcomes I see here. 1. He hasn't said these things. or 2. He has seen other accusers against MJ and now wants to change his tune.

He's not even subtle about the fact that what he's doing here is teasing tabloids to pay him money for making up trashy stories about MJ. How are you going to believe a guy who both in private and public at the time defended MJ but when he's in need of money he's suddenly teasing tabloids for stories if they pay him?
I hope when he does this Bert Fields will speak up.

Yes, the "darker things" isn't a direct quote so it make you wonder if he really said that or if that's just the journalist's addition from that 2011 article. While I am prepared that if he is in need of money he will sell anything for money that tabloids want him to say. But basically here what he is directly quoted for on MJ is only this: This isn't anything sensational in itself, so maybe the journalist needed to spice it up a little with those allusions to "darker things". This is a conversation with Pellicano that Jim Mitteager (a tabloid journalist) secretly recorded in September 1994. The tape still exits. So what is Pellicano going to say? That he told this back then, but now he suddenly knows worse things when he wants to collect money from tabloids as he gets out of jail? GTFOH.

This guy is all shades of creepy. He's shady as fuck. He claims that he hasn't sold any of his secrets yet as it would be beneath him, but is quite obviously insinuating that he would if the price was right. How can you possibly trust such a man who would gladly sell out on his principles for a cost?

It's called jumping on the bandwagon, money talks and bullshit walks and now making up shit about Michael Jackson seems to be all the rage.
Sad!
