The HIStory remix by Tony Moran. Better than the album version IMO.

Who Is it.
28 years old
Must have listened thousands of times
It never tires, always excites.
Best song of all time.

That Holy Trinity on Dangerous. If that was the only thing he ever did, he'd still be the best of all time.

Yeah, it's pretty fucking epic, isn't it? You could make a plausible argument for all three of those tracks being his greatest ever. I don't think I can think of another album where an artist has three career-best songs one after the other like that.... I suppose there's Privacy, Don't Walk Away and Cry. *feel like a dirty traitor making Invincible jokes*

I mean I love others KTF, Dangerous, GTS, BoW But those 4 are in my Top 5 MJ of all time with Earth Song completing the Top 5. I know we’ve said it before, but MITM withstanding, his best tracks were written by him. In fact he’s the best songwriter of all time, no?

The Prince fan in me is telling me no, but I do consider MJ to be my favourite of the two. It's a tricky one. Prince was all about the musicianship and the songwriting and he was incredibly prolific. I mean, people use that word "prolific" a lot, but there's prolific and then there's Prince. I swear most people don't even realise the full breadth and scope of that mans work. For me, what was so outstanding about MJ was the fact that he was literally amazing at everything he put his hand to. Whilst Prince was all about the songwriting and playing instruments, MJ was an unparalleled all-rounder... he was the best dancer, an incredible songwriter, a singer who could make you cry and also make the hairs stand up on the back of your neck, a master showman, a visual pioneer. He covered so much ground and he was almost supernaturally gifted at all of it. But just talking about the songwriting.... Hmmmm, I dunno if I could say he was the best, even though his catalogue of music is my personal favourite. God, I'm not making any sense tonight, am I?
