I've just driven through the town centre with the windows down in the snow blasting Another Part of Me! I don't usually do this but I did it again about a month ago just to remind people.
It's my way of being defiant! Got a few looks, got a group of dudes grooving and got a girl smiling when she heard it!
I ain't muting MJ for ANYONE!!
I feel good people!
I may have pneumonia.

This post is great hahaha. I'm going to a party tonight and I'm definitely putting a few MJ songs on. Fortunately the people I'm with quite like him. Although there is one person there who was teasing me about him "being a pedo" and then acted like I was overreacting when I got annoyed 🤷♀️

The haters are going to hate. Leave them to it. Don’t even bother wasting your time. Smile at them. Shrug it off. Fuck them mate. Be defiant. The problem is we live in a world where half the people are as thick as shit. It’s not our fault theses people are idiots. Don’t let the bastards get you down.

Man, I love these songs now even more than ever. Another one where he addresses child abuse. Thought of it as "love", my ass!
It is a shame the Estate cut out the "only fifteen" part from the album version.
(Meanwhile you see Gene Simmons write songs about lusting after a 16 year old and Iggy Pop about having sex with a 13-year-old.)

I havnt listened to mj in years ie turned him on in my house. Next day neighbour plays him alot or if im in the car i might leave it on if it comes on the radio but for years i intentionally tried to avoid listening. In a shop id make a quick exit. At work in a nightclub i make a dash for the toliets. Sad isnt it. There was more pain than joy

Been appreciating Tabloid Junkie a lot lately. Isn’t it funny how there is such a divide between the albums the fanbase consider his best work and what the industry/critics choose to recognise?
The HIStory album is simply too real for them to handle, which is why it is ignored. They don’t want to acknowledge that it is the most powerful, honest and autobiographical work of his career, because that would ultimately mean they were buying into his defense, which is essentially what three quarters of the album is.

Wasn't it you who said that the HIStory album convinced you of his innocence after the 1993 case? Or something to that effect. That it is so emotionally raw, so real, so angry, so genuine. I agree with that point.
