Wow, save that story for the book. At least Russ was clear when he posted. I'm trying to fill the void. Give me time.

This!
Fantastic edit and I've had the track on repeat on/off all day as a result!
Nobody can spin as great as Michael could....

So good Yes, one of my favorite J5 songs. It's so slept on. I never hear fans talk about how good this song is. To me it's better than Dancing Machine.

That version from New Orleans in '79 is just viciously sexy. The whole album is great like. Those final 3 Motown albums are way more than just transitional releases.

Yeah, this is actually probably my favorite J5 album. The later Motown years are criminally underrated IMO. Probably it's because their popularity declined by the time as they probably lost their novelty, but I don't think this album for example is inferior to the first ones. On the contrary.
Fun fact: On the Glenda tapes once MJ is heard bursting out in this song. I wouldn't say singing, it's more murmuring it, but it was so random. LOL.

But those late Motown albums are def up there with Diana Ross Presents and ABC as far as I'm concerned. Moving Violation is my favourite of the late years, always listen. There are some great performances of these late songs on the variety show too.

This will never get old. Great set full of songs from the late Motown years, and gorgeous performances of Happy and One Day In Your Life.

Which trumps Spotify. Such a great show though.
