I think Taj is pretty gullible. I've seen him get sucked in by conspiracy theories. I don't have high hopes. What sort of conspiracy theories are you referring to? From what I've seen, it looks like most fans have low expectations for the project which usually isn't a great sign. Looking like most people will have moved on by the time Taj ever puts the thing out... I recall him mentioning some non related MJ stuff but honestly I can't think of specific ones at the moment. But he seems to go along with the general shadowy figures in Hollywood are plotting against MJ as part of some grander conspiracy. Really it's much simpler than that. It's profitable to paint Michael as a freak/criminal to the general public and the way his image has been twisted over the decades makes it easy to do. Many people believe it. It sells. Money. It's that simple.

It's that simple. Yes, I've seen some instances where Taj fails to use critical thinking and doesn't use Occam's Razor in way you did there. For example, Taj runs with the claptrap that Jacko has a racist etymology. In fact, it doesn't and Occam's Razor should have been employed by him as well as others. His documentary is essentially geared towards the fans with part of the funding from the fans as well as fans on-board the project. If that's his chapter idea above, it's really going to tell us information we already know as longtimers. Will the general public care about it? I seriously doubt it! There's more than enough evidence to suggest the public want to listen to his music and watch him perform above all. LN showed us all the public are sick of the focus being on the allegations.

The Documentary series is planned to have 7 episodes and Taj gave an example of what it might look like: Episode 1: The 1980’s – The Crowning of a King (The Height of Michael Jackson Mania) Episode 2: 1993/1994 – The Extortion of Michael Jackson Episode 3: The 2005 Trial – Sneddon’s Revenge (The Media’s Pro-Prosecution Role) Episode 4: 2009 – A Fallen King ( The Impact of Michael Jackson’s death) Episode 5: 2019 – The Coordinated Attack of a Dead Man’s Legacy Episode 6: 2020 and Beyond – The Resurgence of a King Episode 7: Michael Jackson’s True Legacy (Charity Work / Humanitarianism) I worry overly honourifics titles like calling him a King every other episode title will portray a too biased tone and make some people instantly dismiss it. Also wondering why 2020 and beyond is deserving of a whole, entire episode when we’re only in 2021 and nothing has really happened to warrant so much resources dedicated. Feels like it should be more of a prologue really.

Feels like it should be more of a prologue really. Looks like it's not focused enough. Seems weird to dedicate a whole episode to humanitarian work at the end. Look... what completed works has Taj put out as a director? None. When he could have been working on this he was spending time watching movies and doing Film Family. Also, many people have been able to put together projects during COVID. I hate to be negative, but I have to be realistic.

Is that enough chapters? Expected to see: Ep 3. Leaving Motown Ep 5. The Making of Thriller But in all fairness, Taj is doing his bit. Which is a lot more than most so deserves kudos.

I also think putting out new music may help with reaching out to a new generation again

LOL! to be honest with you Michael claim he didn't like people calling him king but he went along with it because he loved his fans etc. so yes i agree with this. Michael was nothing more than an human being. he just was very talented that's all.

^^ I have respect for Taj for being so vocal about his uncles innocence, but this is Wade Robson levels of delusion here. "Burning Hollywood bridges"... ummm... really?! Somehow I don't believe he was on the cusp of Hollywood royalty, the next Scorsese, but put it all aside to make this elusive documentary about MJ which seems to never be coming out.

i'm not sure if we gonna get it or not but i agree with Taj. as someone who wanted to be in the entertainment business that idea has pretty much faded away. hollywood full of it and they don't care who are or how you feel they gonna treat you how they see you.
if hollywood hate you they will do anything to destroy you.
as a fan i love standing up for michael because in reality we pretty much all the people he has including family and a few friends. hollywood and the media did michael wrong.
the music industry is apart of hollywood. so yes Taj is apart of hollywood. he is an celebrity of 3T and the nephew of MJ.

I dunno, it's easy to be sceptical of Taj, but he obviously has the best of intentions and is doing this for the right reasons. I'm happy to give him the benefit of the doubt, as I don't see anyone else with a platform breaking down any doors to stand up for MJ.

I'm certain we'll get the doc eventually. I also don't think Taj was trying to make himself out to be a big deal. A lot more goes on in Hollywood outside of what you see on TV or in the cinema. There are a LOT of bridges to burn that don't lead to a starring role or becoming a famous director.
Personally, I'm proud of Taj for continuing to stand up for Michael despite whatever consequnces may come of it.

I'm just waiting for the day that Taj completes a (any) project. He's 47 now and has never made any sort of film. Not an independent. Nothing. I don't know how he can call himself a director. What does he do all day?

well he has daughters. one was just born. Taj is pretty much "rich". i mean if he sit at home all day not doing any projects including music. i wouldn't say taj life is over. he's only 47. he still can come out with something film or music or whatever he has an talent in.
let's see what's happens.
i hope if this doc happens it will be good and not cheaply made. that's what i'm kind of afraid of like many. this is mj. i'm not saying and low budget film is bad but it needs to be good for the public.
i heard Prince is involve so this maybe good. also not to brag about mj either gotta make where it's gets to the point. i feel all these parts are too much.
he may need to cut it to like 2 hours. i don't think people gonna sit more then that to watch a doc.
i wish taj the best. he's gonna need it.

Hmmmm, this seems to confirm many of my misgivings about Taj's docu-series.
