Good on Taj. I can't wait for this. I hope everything goes to plan and he can get it out by the end of the year.

I hope Taj's documentary is solely about the allegations. I think it needs to be focused, not just a hodge-podge of rebuttals defending his private life. The rest of the stuff, the surgery, the vitiligo etc, pales into insignificance in terms of impact/damage to MJs legacy in comparison to the allegations.

This clearly isn't solely about the LN allegations and other child abuse allegations.
Taj is going for everything.....or a hodge-podge as Ghost puts it. 🤔

He originally said that it was going to be more than one doc. Wonder if that's still the case.

Also, his promo clip looks very cheap and does not fill me with any confidence.

Didn't notice the teaser before. Legit feel like I could make a better one on my laptop.

The rest of the stuff, the surgery, the vitiligo etc, pales into insignificance in terms of impact/damage to MJs legacy in comparison to the allegations. I do agree that it should focus on the allegations first and foremost. Whether other things should be discussed depends on the format imo. If this is going to be a multi-part documentary series, I do think it would work. What you want to avoid at all costs is defending MJ against the allegations by having his friends tell the viewer what a great guy he was and that "Michael would never do something like that." That's just not going to convince people. The rebuttal needs to be focused and factual. But let's say he does that, and that he manages to convince viewers that the allegations against MJ were a farce over the course of a few episodes. The next question the average viewer will have is "okay, so he was probably set up here, but still: why was this guy hanging around kids? Why did he bleach his skin?" This is where I think discussing other stuff and introducing character witnesses would work really well. You rebut the allegations and then present an alternative to the narrative of MJ the bizarre freak that people have been fed for 30 years. I think it could be really effective.

I hope he won't run with easily disproven falsehoods. I hope he has fans to consult with who can give him the proper facts. This should not be a waste of opportunity and money.

I mean he won't say things that are not true. Eg. "Jordan Chandler recanted."

I mean he won't say things that are not true. Eg. "Jordan Chandler recanted." Hopefully, he approaches other things in the same way. Otherwise, people will speak up and he'll start losing some credibility. Exactly why I think he should just stick to the allegations of abuse themselves.

I mean he won't say things that are not true. Eg. "Jordan Chandler recanted." Yeah, or the Euro Disney thing that got started by... whoever that was (a misguided fan? a hater posing as a fan?). Only way the "Jordan Chandler recanted" argument could work is if those college roommates of his that he confessed to back in the day were in the documentary. It wouldn't be much but it would be something, especially since one of them was going to testify in case JC did testify in 2005.

Update from 12th May 2019: Meant to read that update and forgot, so thank you for posting. I know some were critical of the teaser quality and I get that. TBH, I'm far more concerned with the distribution of it when the time comes. It won't matter how whether the quality is good or bad if no one outside of those who already know the truth see it.
