Heard MJ a lot while in LA this week, and not just on the 25th. Heard Thriller in a store (which also displayed three shirts of him...but I couldn't find any on the shelf to buy; I guess the only ones were the ones displayed WAY up high), and THREE of his songs in some tacky cheap Hollywood merch shop. Interestingly, the songs were all instrumentals, and they also got cut off so the store could keep advertising their "EVERYTHING IS HALF OFF!!11!" spiel. Good amount of MJ merch and albums in Amoeba Records too.

Spike is the man! He was celebrating the 30th anniversary of Do The Right Thing but still played The Jackson 5 and Michael's music anyway. Janet didn't even bother to play Scream at Glastonbury and it's neither part of the set list of her Vegas residency.
As a huge MJ and chocolate fan, I need those bars in my life even if they're expired.

Not exactly newsworthy, but seaching MJs name on Twitter seems to be business as usual again!

I'm late to the party. I was in a remote hipster village in Turkey on that day. On the 25th I was listening to a really cool acoustic duo that mostly played songs I never heard of. And then they played acoustic versions of Billie Jean, Rock With You and Beat It! Everybody was into it. Needless to say, it was a great night. I might have recorded a bit of Beat It. I will try to post it later

I thought MJ would never ever get a pass in there. You know the most famous pop star ever and all that. I guess nobody is too edgy to enjoy a bit of MJ

This is Evgeni Plushenko's son. You may remember Evgeni in the winter Olympics in Salt Lake City, 2002 using an MJ medley for his routine. He's a fan and it seems he passed that fandom onto Alex. http://instagram.com/p/BzH5u40goAj

That's so awesome, my only gripe with listening to TDCAU on Spotify is that it has the censored version. I listen to the uncensored version on YT.
