Michael had been recording on and off from 2002 to early 2009 before he announced the This Is It residency. During this period, he had done work with Will.i.am, Akon, RedONE and Neff U, but also he worked with Michael Prince, Brad Buxer, John Barnes, Barry Gibb, and a few others.
According to the lists they found in his home, these are the songs he was working on
Lady of Summer Hollywood Tonight Shut Up and Dance Rock Tonight Adore You Breathe I Am That One Everybody Wants To Be A Movie Star Beautiful Girl All In Your Name Scared of The Moon Thank Heaven Ghost of Another Lover Days In Gloucestershire Lonely Bird Broken Chair Red Eye Way You Love Me I Was The Loser Best of Joy D.I.E. Is She Coming Back Dark Lady/H2o Bottom of My Heart Hold My Hand Remember What I Told You Can't Stop Loving You Silent Spring You Were There Throwing Your Life Away Leaving Today for Ber??? (couldn't make out the last world)
There's also the "classical music" project he was planning to commission
If these songs have vocals and or even partially finished, what do you think should be done. How should such a project be handled in your opinion?

It is doubtful that much of this material has fully recoreded vocals. Especially the songs with will.I.am, RedOne. If these were completed songs, we would've undoubtedly heard of them by now.
It seems all that was left behind from 2002-2009 is half finished demos with incomplete vocals. Sad, but true.

It's been said the Estate doesn't even fully know what they have, as they haven't really brought the right people on board to go through the material.

I don't believe will.i.am has any completed songs with vocals.

I don't believe will.i.am has any completed songs with vocals. I was thinking about it recently and how I now take what Will says with a grain of salt (for example, the times he's revised that story about taking MJ to that Prince concert) and I believe it's possible

Personally I'm afraid they are all low quality. I'd rather not. But then I may be surprised if they ever come out.

Yeah but do we need an album of 80% low quality MJ off cuts? Just for the sake of hearing 'new' material?

I bet there's much better songs than Loving You and Blue Gangster left in the vault.

As far as I know, this relates to stuff he made in his last few years.

Will.I.Am has always stated that it's not his right to release any of the material that he recorded with Michael, so it's probably never gonna come out.... but you never know.

I really don't think I want to hear anything Michael did with will.i.am I like the guy, he seems really nice, honest and genuine. But his music is awful. Aside from the odd BEP song (obviously Where Is The Love) i must admit, I do have a soft spot for My Humps. Not the song, my actual humps.

Yeah. I don't think I want to know which humps you are referring to, lol.

If they're really not complete enough to be released on a conventional album then put them on some large collection, along with alternate mixes/demos of released and unreleased MJ songs.

The Brad Sundberg seminar is great I hear. RN it seems to be the perfect way of listening to the outtakes.
