Following the success of Bohemian Rhapsody, feature film about Freddie Mercury, producer Graham King and company is working alongside the family and administrators of Michael Jackson's legacy for a biopic. The plot that will be written by John Logan, screenwriter of titles such as 007 Against Spectre and The Aviator has entered the production phase according to anonymous sources, beginning to revitalize the place jackson lived for 17 years, the Neverland ranch. A fan photographed last Saturday (6/3) several trucks bringing carousel horses and other attractions to the ranch. Let's treat this like a rumor, since there's no official word. Stay tuned! So they'll do a Hollywood biopic addressing the allegations but won't put together a meaningful documentary in his defense? Sounds about right.

I wish his Estate could read the room. I don't think any biopic at this time will be well received, even if it is the best made of them all. The media is just hostile towards MJ. Plus I really don't like the fact the Estate always jumps on these trendy bandwagons, but when it already passed the station - they are always late to the party. I personally don't think MJ needs a biopic at all. Just because it is the trendy thing now, I don't think his Estate should try to follow every trend. I agree with Electriceyes, it would be better to make a high profile Netflix documentary about his life - with some episodes addressing the allegations.
Also, this seems like maybe a big leap to conclusions by fans: they just saw some carousels being brought to the ranch and they made this conclusion of it.

They need to just leave him alone and let the music speak for itself. He’s been gone for almost 12 years now

Maybe it's not a biopic, but the new owner, Ron Burkle, restoring old Neverland?

whatever we like it or not it's happening, this came from this article a few days ago, “As the co-producer of the Michael Jackson: ONE show in Las Vegas and the MJ biopic and Broadway play we have in development, the work has been ongoing. I’m looking forward to once again putting Michael’s music and the work done by the talented team of the producers, directors, choreographers, dancers, actors and other creators involved in these productions in front of his fans and the public. The Estate of Michael Jackson continues to develop projects that honor the life and music of, in the memorable words of Berry Gordy, “the greatest entertainer who ever lived.”” hitsdailydouble.com/news&id=326552&title=MUSIC%E2%80%99S-HOTTEST-FIRMS:-ZIFFREN-BRITTENHAM

I won't support the movie, Bohemian Raphsody was awful. I just hope Ron Burkle's Neverland purchase doesn't have anything to do with that movie.
