I really liked "My Dad's Gone Crazy" from The Eminem Show. That was a pretty good album all in all. Wasn't so taken with any of his other albums though. And all the cartoon/spoof videos and lead singles were pretty lame and gimmicky, and I'm not just referring to Just Lose It and its ridiculous MJ reference.

Besides of not forgiving him for jumping into the bandwagon of "let's mock and ridicule Michael Jackson " cheap shot, the main problem that I have with him are his downright misogynistic (people can hate their mothers, exes all they want but he was misogynist in his lyrics or making fun of domestic violence in one of his videos despite having a daughter) and homophobic lyrics. I haven't listened most of his new stuff, except for the duet with Rihanna but at least that's what Marshall Mathers or his alter ego were in the past.

I could forgive him his stupid MJ references in Just lose it (because MJ wasn't the only one who was made fun of in the video) BUT there is also the fact that Eminem reenacted the MJ balcony scene with a baby doll which is just sick.
I really like Lose Yourself and Love the way you Lie, the guy is really talented. But I don't really like his behaviour and some of his lyrics.

I'm a casual fans, I have his greatest hits album Curtain Call on CD, I like a great number of songs on there (and then some beyond the album) but that's it really.
I honestly don't really care for the Just Lose It thing. The video itself sucks (I just don't think it's a good music video, even excluding the MJ thing) but I'm not going to stop something like this from me enjoying a song that I think has a good beat.
It's not a song I'll exactly go on about to other people, but if I feel like playing it or it comes on shuffle, I'll certainly jam to it, it's hard not to.

Well, I wouldn't deny its musical merits just because the song mocks MJ, but as it happens, the song is kinda lame too. I hate all his gimmicky, cartoon-rap lead singles.

I became a fan of Eminem back in 2000 with the release and huge hype that was surrounding 'Stan' and the controversial video that went with it. I 'm not a fan of rap in general, but there's something about Eminem's tunes and the lyrics which I find interesting and enjoyable when in the mood for it.

Stan shits on any song Eminem made in his career, it introduced a new groundbreaking genre of rap, it created the term "stan for" we all use at one point, it has a cultural influence, it has a great storyline, great lyrics and wordplay.
Not that fussed on most of his material though.
